Avoid at all costs. I have been a patient of Dr. Ray for 3 years. She is friendly and does a good job explaining issues when asked. However, they overbook so the doctors have very little time with the patients. In a dozen visits I have never not seen the place overflowing. Worse, as so many others have mentioned customer service is nonexistent. The front desk is more often than not disorganized, unhelpful, flippant, condescending, and inflexible. On countless visits I have witnessed blatantly rude treatment of the patients. The phone etiquette is even worse. Scheduling is a ongoing problem. Expect last minute cancellations with no explanation or effort to reschedule you with a different doctor on the same day. Without a doubt overall this is the worse medical facility I have ever encountered. They desperately need a housecleaning, but after 3 years of problems Im done. Im changing providers and also advising my primary care doctor to never again refer patients to Advanced Dermatology.

Terrible communication. I went in as a new patient for an annual mole check and the MA and doctor both thought I was there for a follow up from a diagnosis at Castle Rock. They clearly did not bother to record the reason for my visit. The doctor I saw was not interested in speaking WITH me, only TO me. She never asked the reason for my visit, she continually discussed the dermatitis on my eye and relating it to acne (I have NO acne at all) and prescribed me additional medication for the dermatitis. I did NOT come here for that. She never once allowed me to respond or cut in with any concerns of my own. Very disappointed with this office, staff, and lack of communication. I will absolutely not be returning to this office.

I am an expat. With international insurance coverage which is been accepted in all my previous health care endeavours in the US and across the rest of the world. This company did not even want to hear me out. They refused looking a my insurance and only answered: "this is not the way we do things around here". I was in need of urgent care for a malignant mole. I am relieved that I found a good centre soon after contacting Advanced Dermatology and was able to leave this negative costumer experience behind me. I understand when you are a regional centre and perhaps not able to deal with international insurance. I would have appreciated it when the people would have been kind and willing to help me out.

Whenever calling Advanced Dermatology in Aurora, I was always put on hold. That usually isnt a problem, but once I was disconnected 3 times. The fourth time I waited for close to 15 minutes before someone could help me. I cancelled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I got a voicemail saying I had missed my appointment...the one I cancelled 4 days before. Of course, trying to call them back was a struggle. Finally connected (and put on hold) after 2 times. Why cant they pick up the phone? Terrible communication skills and terrible service to patients.

Dr. Ray is an odd duck. Quite strange and made me a bit nervous. The bad experience, though was with the staff. I have not been called back with the outcome of the biopsy and that has been two weeks. THATS TOO long!! I called the office with another issue and that was last Friday and have not heard anything from anyone, so Im done. I do not like being ignored!!!!! Thats not only unprofessional, its down right frikin rude.

I was treated by Dr. Ray, she is very good at what she does when it comes to explaining the diagnosis and answering any questions you have. My procedure took about a few minutes and I was in and out within 30 min all together. The negative reviews made me question my visit initially but all the people complained about things not concerning the actual procedure, the place was clean and I had nothing negative to say.

Ive been a patient here for 4 years, but today was my last visit. The waiting room is filthy and the exterior of the building is surrounded by weeds and dirt. The wait for my appointment exceeded 20 minutes, so I had to leave to get back to work. I think Dr Ray is overly aggressive with her biopsies. The other location is a little better, but Im going to look for a cleaner, more professional clinic.

I just had a small procedure performed at Advanced Dermatology and I would recommend them to anyone. I saw Dr. Megan Weber, she was awesome. I feel she considered my situation and needs and proceeded accordingly. The rest of the staff was very nice and professional as well. If I have any future dermatological conditions, I will most definitely go back to Advanced Dermatology. Thank you.

Communication sucks. They couldnt find me/my file until I called my insurance company and told them to withhold payment since the doctors office did not complete their job. Took over 3 months to get results. When called they will get back to you in 24 hours...do not hold your breath. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor who actually cares about the patients

Look them up on Yelp. Pretty much sums all their offices up. Tho Dr. Ray is great it doesnt matter if the office staff on almost every end is so awful. Your care as a patient does not begin and end with the Dr...its actually the office staff. Its a huge waste of your time to believe youll be any different than the numerous others with the same complaint.

So Loved It is not exactly the way I feel about getting a benign lipoma removed but thats exactly how I feel about the service I received from Dr. Johnson, Jo and the rest of the Advanced Dermatology staff. I can honestly say I hope I never see any of them again in a professional setting but if the need arises, I will definitely be going directly back.

Waited a month to be seen with a pretty serious problem and then had some car trouble so I was 30 minutes late and they cancelled my appointment and wanted to reschedule for a month away. These people dont care about their patients and you would be better of going somewhere else.
