I can not speak on the home health for adult care as I used it for pediatric care. My son has been with this company for 4 years. I can not count the number of different caregivers we have had. Also turnover in management in the office is at high rate . I stayed mostly because two of the many caregivers we had we trusted. Once they left, we have had one after another and excuse after excuse of why we needed to change caregiver again. Any one with common sense that works with kids should know that change like that is not good for kids. There were times they wanted to send a new caregiver out without me meeting them first. Absolutely not, this is my kid and I refuse to have just anyone watch him. My son has seizures and most of them had no experience with that. How to you expect a parent to be comfortable knowing the caregiver has no idea what to do if an emergency would arise. Lately I dealt mostly with Wyatt, he is a nice person and was never rude but I got tired of the excuses. Yesterday I called and ask to talk to him but got his assistant Diana, I explained I was leaving the company and switching home care providers and needed some forms faxed. She was completely rude. After 4 years you would think I would at least get an apology for not being able to provide or a we are so sorry to see you go. All I got was attitude. That is not the first time I have spoke her with and every time is the same, she is short with you and her attitude is ridiculous. As a nurse myself in a large practice, I will not be referring patients here. When there employees are also leaving due to unfair treatment, you start to realize why they have no compassion.

These folks have worked hard me with and my parents to provide care for my Mom. They have provided several excellent caregivers - who were on time and went the extra mile. We have someone 10 hours a day for 5 days, Meals are lovely, my Mom has someone who listens and cares about her.

Today is the third time in 4 weeks that a scheduling mishap has occurred. It has been so frustrating to again and again have to call 5 Star to get my needed care. It is sad because their field personnel are outstanding but it is so apparent that their office people are subpar.

Failed to fulfill promised objectives. Unprofessional. Failed to provide promised weekend coverage. Completely unreliable. Untrained staff. . We had to train them. If you care about your lovedone, look elsewhere.

D rating - - Consistently failed to provide the promised respite hours of coverage on weekends when primary caregiver was out of town. Typically had to call the office 2-3 times before receiving a return call.
