I went to McDowell with anxiety and depression that escalated into a passive death wish. McDowell actually laughed when I explained my thoughts and feelings. After a ten minute appointment in which she never made eye contact with me she dismissed me with no change in meds. (I shouldnt have expected more. My appointments with her were consistently 10 minutes each after 2+ hours of waiting.) Now, a year later, her office continues to harass me for a fee I refuse to pay because of her negligence and the totally unacceptable lack of care I received. Ive never met a psychiatrist so utterly unconcerned with their patients well being.

This office has made the biggest difference in my life and in a very short period of time. I use Dr. Handal which I love and my therapist is Olivia Parker. She is probably one of the most influential person in my life at the time. You always feel welcomed. Highly recommended!!
