My kids saw Dr. Razuri for their 6 month check-ups and we were stunned at her recommendations: several crowns, extractions and space maintainers. Additionally, IV sedation ($$$) was strongly recommended over oral sedation for our cooperative 4 year old. Our children have seen several pediatric dentists in the North Phoenix/Scottsdale area over the years due to insurance changes, so we have experienced a variety of treatment approaches, but never anything this aggressive. Thank goodness we consulted 2 other dentists - it was determined that 90% of Dr. Razuris extensive treatment plan was unnecessary - all that was needed were a few fillings! Not only were our children spared unnecessary discomfort while she worked on their healthy teeth, but we were saved several thousand dollars out-of-pocket since her plan would have far surpassed our annual insurance benefits. The thing that I find most unsettling about this experience is that, had this been our childrens first visit to the dentist, we likely would have trusted her.

Two time I have called them during the last 6 months to make an appointment. There is a lady with name Tracey at the front office. It will require at least 10 times for any new patient to spell their names to get anything past her and make an appointment. After spending(wasting) 22 minutes on the phone after the 16 character(first and last name) you will end up with the scheduling department. That scheduling department will give new patient an appointment after almost 1.5 months and that too during odd time. Very difficult front office staff to deal with. May be dentists might be good but if they are hiring this kind of front office staff - I doubt even they are good enough. Look for some other dentist and office and avoid this. They should tie up with ZocDoc for appointment and get rid of this good for nothing front office staff.

Very professional and GREAT with kids. They inform the kids of whats being done (for minor things) also show them the tools to make them feel at ease. My son required an anesthetic procedure, due to alot of work that needed to be done. The team initially thought alot of work was required, although it was still alot of work, they found that some things were not as bad, which allowed them to fix a few additional teeth. Truly showed they are in it for the children and not strictly for profit. Dr. Livingston (Dentist) & Dr. Christensen (Anesthesiologist) are AWESOME. Small World Pediatric Dentistry is AWESOME, highly recommended!

I really liked the way the doctors treated my daughter. She did not need to lay on the dentist chair, they put her on the doctors lap and I could hold her legs. She was very comfortable and happy that it was not a male dentist. She is so much more comfortable with females. Thanks for your great work.

Cody called me from the nurse’s office at school with a toothache, I called the office they worked him in that day. The office staff is very compassionate. Dr. Razuri pulled two of Cody’s teeth. We thank her he had a great weekend and is healing very well. Thank you to all great staff!

I highly recommend Small World. Dr. Andrew and his entire staff make going to the dentist a pleasurable experience. They are wonderful with the children. My family has been patients there for 14 years. If you are looking for a pediatric dentist, look no further. :)

I have been taking my 3 kids to A Small World since they were little. Now they are 6,3 and 1. The baby cried at her first visit last month, but she cries for everything. My oldest had sealants done and he did great! I am very happy with the service.

Dr Razuri and Dr Vasquez are great with kids. After the appointment the kids get a coin to pull a gift out of a gum ball machine. Wonderful idea. We learned a lot about teeth cleaning during the appointment.
