Took my two children and myself for a comprehensive exam. Our hygienist was Eric he took a full mouth x-rays because Im new to the office, he also did an ultrasonic cleaning and was very gentle. My teeth feel nice and clean. My children where seen at the same time, four x-rays each with a panoramic x-ray. Along with handscaling and prophy polishing. Which I can appreciate because I know they dont clean their teeth very well. Eric finished up my cleaning and exam just in time for me to see the exam done with my children. We all seen Doctor Portor. He is very nice and had lots of patience with my nervous seven year old. After everything was completed met with the financial coordinator Tara who was also very sweet hearted. She let my children pull from the treasure chest and they went to school loving their little treasures. Thanks everyone who helped my family get the best of care without having to wait!!! I will be back there soon!

This has been my dental provider since last year. I have never had a problem until yesterday. A few days a go I received a call to let me know I had a schedule for a dental cleaning. I asked the caller if she could please check to see if my insurance covered it and if I would have to pay for anything. She assured me that it was covered % 100. So I went, by the time I was leaving they took me to her and she said. "Ok so your total today is $103.00" I said "why? When you called I asked you if I had to pay anything and you said no" she said that it wasnt her responsibility to know if the insurance was maxed out that it was for me to know. I maxed out my insurance with them yet she supposedly didnt know. I am definitely considering a change. I feel lied to, and I can no longer trust these people.

Dr. Porter and all the staff are the best. They will go completely out of their way to ensure you are getting the best care possible, even if that means referring you to a specialist. Recently, they took incredible care of me in a very painful moment, which was compounded by my pregnancy; making it nerve wracking for me. I truly feel like my unborn child was considered as an equal to me, which made me feel safe and cared about. I felt so comfortable having dentistry done while pregnant, because of their knowledge and careful consideration. I am super thankful to them every time I visit, but this past visit exceeded my already high expectation. Thank you Dr. Porter and company.

Best experience ever! Me and my 3 year old daughter went together. The staff was so helpful with her. She had an awesome experience and even wanted to go back to the dentist again to get her teeth checked! What child has ever liked to go to the dentist?! That is how fun Genesis made her visit and how kid friendly they were! I loved the professional and welcoming environment. I loved the thorough explanation of everything during my visit. I also appreciated how they had everything organization and prepared for me when it was time to wrap up my visit. Best office visit Ive had, period! I was in and out with no problems for me and my daughter. Glad I chose this office!

They do amazing work and are great with both kids and adults. They make sure that the patient is comfortable and has all the information regarding available options. They worked quickly and efficiently. We have had at least 15 visits as a family and have experienced no billing issues. If you have a dental emergency they deal with it immediately. Thank you for your fantastic service. My kids LOVE going to the dentist even though theyve had cavities. Makes my life way easier when it is time for a cleaning and checkup. Dr. Porter listened to my concerns and then restated them in a way that let me know he had understood exactly what I said. The staff is always friendly and greets me by name when I walk in, before I even check in. Each staff member exudes a confident, knowledgeable attitude, which made me as a patient feel good about the treatment I am receiving. I have had the opposite experience elsewhere, and can not say enough about how much of a difference the listening factor makes in getting the right treatment. Thank you Genesis Dental!

Although this was only my second visit to the office the receptionist immediately remembered my name, that kind of service is exactly what I look for. It was a busy time for them by the looks of things but they seemed to be working through it with ease. I only waited 5 minutes to be seen by the hygienist and my experience with her was painless and easy. I would recommend this dental office to anyone that is searching for a clean, organized and professional organization to trust their mouth to.

Everyone was extremely friendly and the overall atmosphere when you walk in is welcoming. My hygienist, her name started with a "T" but Im really bad with names, was incredible. And although the conversation was a little one sided due to dental instruments being in my mouth I felt like I was talking to a friend. Doctor "P," again names, was super funny and I look forward to having a filling placed on Monday. #82

Talk about first class service. Ive never been to a dental practice that can keep me laughing throughout any type of treatment. Ranging from a root canal to a crown these can be quite traumatizing to some for me I was only struggling with the fact that I wanted to giggle so much. Thank you Dr Porter and Tara and the rest of the staff of course. I will always as usual tell everyone how amazing you are.

The staff is absolutely amazing! The doctors are so thorough, and everyone is so incredibly friendly. The entire staff from beginning to end was caring and happy and efficient. I will NEVER go anywhere else. I used to be afraid of the dentist and nowI actually look forward to going to the dentist! They are pain free and do everything to make sure I am comfortable and they treat me like Im a VIP!!

For several years now, I have been using the Genesis Dental office on Redwood Road just south of I215. It is in my opinion the first Dentist who appears to be totally honest; he does the work required without pushing for extra service to fill his pockets unlike previous Dentists I have had. His office is the first that I would recommend without hesitation to friends and family.

Best visit ever! My Hygienist was Terrin and she was awesome. She has such a bubbly personality it made getting my teeth cleaned fun and I can tell she really cares about me as a patient. Terrin and Dr Porter proposed and explained a treatment plan to me and answered all of my questions. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to going back to the dentist.

Me and my family have been going to Dr. Porter here at Genesis Dental since 2008, I absolutely love all the staff ;They are professional, very friendly and have always been able to work us in when we needed to be seen on emergency basis. I have never had a problem and actually enjoy and look forward to my check ups. I would highly recommend them.
