I typically would not write a lengthy review, but because I feel our entire experience at The Village Eye Care was so outstanding, I feel potential clients need to know this is not your typical, everyday customer service. First off, I forgot my benefits had changed to a different provider and accidentally gave the old information. I received a call from Tonya (front desk) and she informed me of the situation. I apologized and was worried that I may not be able to get the correct provider info in time for the appointment. She was so sweet, so incredibly patient with me while I looked up the new provider information. By the time our conversation was over I was actually looking forward to our appointment just so I could meet this warm and caring person! A couple hours later, as I drove to the office I was worried that my 5-year old daughter would be too shy for the appointment to be a success. I was concerned that Dr. Baird may really have to work some magic to get her to read the eye chart. From the very second he stepped foot into the room she was smiling and laughing. He played peek-a-boo from the hall which had both of my kids laughing. Throughout the appointment he told them knock-knock jokes and even told my daughter that if she was able to read the last line of the eye chart by the time we left that he would allow her to say "Girls are better than boys" to him and her older brother. You can only imagine how much her little face smiled ear-to-ear. All of these small, simple gestures are just a few of the wonderful reasons why we will be lifelong clients at The Village Eye Care. My kids still talk about this appointment which really says a lot about the staff and the overall care they have for their customers. As we left their office she was given a T-shirt that reads "Keep Calm and Call Dr. Baird" which she wears all the time! Side note: She was able to read the last line of the eye chart. Those poor men. :)

I am honestly a little taken back with the negative review I was alerted about. I cant imagine every step was taken to contact The Village Eye Care to resolve whatever the issue is. I say this because we have been patients with them for a few years now, and we have never had an concern that wasnt fixed. In fact, the minor issues we had was because my kids are so stinking picky and change their minds about frames or contacts after we were already in there and decided! WE create extra work for them and they never ever complain! I absolutely love that they are so family orientated. Dr. Baird is hilarious, knows his stuff, and his passion of his profession is very obvious. They are changing their hours to accommodate those of us who work full time jobs so that we can be seen at night, instead of spending our weekends with appointments. They are amazing with my daughter who has vision, sensory, and emotional challenges. We always feel at home and honestly will never go anywhere else. They now accept our insurance plans, but we will continue to go there, regardless of insurance!

We were patients of Dr. Baird for 2 years. We have since moved out of the area, but absolutely loved every experience we had with the team @ Village Eye Care. We have 5 children in glasses, and one with special needs. I cannot begin to express how different the experience was than with other offices. The employees genuinely seem to enjoy the work they do, and the go above and beyond. We had an insurance company that requires lenses be filled from a specific lab back east.... the lab lost the frames, messed up the lenses, then lost them.... The entire staff worked diligently to help us resolve the issue, even though it wasnt their mistake. I dont often leave reviews, especially negative ones because any person or group can have an off day, but with a team like this a good review is a pleasure to provide. I assure you I am not a personal friend of anyone employed by Village Eye Care, I am not a family member, nor am I employed there. I actually live out of state now, but would return to them without hesitation if I ever found myself back in the area.

My son has been wearing glasses since he was 4 years old. In the past 8 years, We have never encountered an office OR eye doctor that was as thorough as The Village Eye Care compared to the others. My daughter also felt comfortable for her first visit & she was truly scared. Every time I have had to call & ask a question or make an appointment I am always greeted with what sounds like a smile on the phone & we always get one when walking in the door. Thank you for taking us on! We have referred you to many!

My family and I have been going to Village Eye Care since we moved to Arizona about 4 years ago. The doctor and his staff have always be friendly and able to help us with all of our eye care needs. Dr. Baird is good with my kids too and they like him (I think it is because he has many of his own, or they just have the same sense of humor :) ) I have also recommended Village Eye Care to many of my friends who were looking for an eye doctor or to get new eye glasses and they have always been pleased.

I have been going to Dr. Baird for a few years now as well as my husband and 6 children who range from 2 to 14 years old. We do not have one negative thing to say about them....the staff is always great and gets us in with no problems. They throughly investigate my beneifts and help me to get the most out of my glasses / contacts purchase. The selection of glasses is amazing, every time we go in there are new styles and designs! We wont go anywhere else!

This place should scare you before you ever walk in. Look at the amount of fake 5 star reviews and youll notice a problem. The people leaving the reviews have only reviewed this place which 9/10 means employees or friends of the place. They did all of this in responses to a negative review that theyve had flagged. Anyone can create endless google accounts to leave reviews for their own business.

Dr. Baird and his staff are great! Highly personable and professional. If you are concerned about how many 5-Stars they get, dont be! Its because they are good at what they do AND NOT because they are fake posts. I know that is the pattern out there these days but this place lives up to the 5-Star rating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eye doctor part is fine. What is NOT fine is that they spam your cell phone and email with advertisements which lends a cheap sleezy feeling to their outfit. In a world of hypermarketing - enough already! Just be an eye doctor and stop the spam based advertising scheme. Its annoying enough Im considering changing doctors.

I have been going to The Village Eye Care for several years, this is first rate customer service! Dr Baird is the best eye doctor I have ever had! Great selection of frames, lenses they even carry special frames for motorcycle riding. PS. I am not an employee, just one happy patient!
