I have been going Surprise Family Eye - Dr. Ornstein office at the Surprise Fields I have place my trust with Dr. Erik Ornstien for 8 years & Dr. Ornstein is right on with my prescription. My background is a health care administrator that I am & I know when merging medical files & re-training new staff it all comes into play & the start is the receptionist (note the receptionist will keep the patients flowing if they are trained properly) Transitions are hard on the whole practice & this all needs some more training for the new software etc.! Dr. Ornstein is very good & I personally dont trust anyone else to be my EYES. Yes, I do & will still & continue referring patients to this new facility Kokopelli Eye Institute & I know it does take over the whole office & staff & physician & the patients to transition into a nice new office flow as Dr. Ornstein has a very established office here & I will continue having my services with Dr. Ornstein. Dr. Ornstein is very Punctual & his patient care comes first this is why I keep him. Thank you Dr. Ornstien & Marissa

I am rewriting my previous review as I left a 1 Star due to a few bad eggs. But the office here does take care of their customers. Marissa who is one of the office managers went above and beyond to find out what was happening with my glasses even emailed and contacted me with updates. They went out of their way to correct how I was treated. They really do care that you have a wonderful experience. I went back in for some adjustments and Marissa was so helpful as I brought my toddler, she took him to the Toys and let him play and was so kind throughout the visit. I have nothing but respect for her and this company. I will continue to go to this location moving forward. It’s not always easy to turn a negative experience to a good one but, Marissa made sure it was corrected with exemplary customer service. I would recommend this office to someone looking for a optical provider.

Refused to give me my contact prescription. First they wouldnt give me my lenses. Then they flat out refused to give me the prescription they had. They are a medical provider that refused to give me my own records. Basically wasted two of my days. And still charged me.

The staff and Doctor were fantastic. The doctor gave me the prescription and suggested that I pick somewhere else that didnt cost as much for my new glasses.
