About a year ago I took my cat Oreo to Banfield to get some bumps checked out that were of concern to me. When I went, they told me to come back in a few weeks to see if they got any bigger. They then proceeded to try and get me to purchase a lot of unnecessary medication like something to control his weight (my cat was a little chunkie but I loved it. Plus he was a Maine coone). When I got home something just didnt feel right about the visit. I then started to research vets in the area and this one came up with the highest rating, only the best for my baby! I made an appointment right away. When I came in with Oreo the staff was wonderful as was the vet. I could tell everyone was very caring. The vet looked at Oreos bumps and gave it to me straight that he was concerned that they were tumors. I was shocked. Why wouldnt Banfield inform me of that?! I was enraged. We then took correct course of action, but by then it was too late. My Oreo passed away but this vet did all he could to help him and most importantly stayed honest with me every step of the way. I will never trust my animals with any place other than here!

The doctor(vet) that sees my two dogs is very informative and accommodating. He showed me how to express my one dog and really explained not just to mechanics of it but the biology too. Theyve always taken really excellent care of my buddies. Two reasons why I didnt rate 5-star (even though Id recommend this vet to anyone) 1. When they send out the immunization reminders, they always get to my house at least 2-4weeks after the shots have expired. My preference would be to keep them up-to-date and not wait until its nearly too late to try to make an appointment. 2. Since I think theres only one vet/dr. at this location, its been a challenge for my husband and I to try to schedule last minute visits (my one dog had a splinter in his pad and I couldnt get in soon enough, my other dog needed to be expressed and I couldnt get in soon enough, etc.). Just things to be aware of. Again, overall: really great, caring vet for your babies

We found the office staff to be very nice and Dr. Maloney a great down to earth guy! While weve lived in Antioch for 16 years, we finally decided to stop driving to WC to see someone locally. Very happy we did. I *loved* my vet in WC (Wendy Angeus), but the drive and WC prices the clinic she works at was more than our wallet could spare. Dr Maloney has reasonable pricing and excellent care. I felt very comfortable at our dogs first visit with him. This weekend one of our kitties will be seen for the first time - Im sure he will be more nervous than me!

I have been taking my babies here since they were born two years ago. I love the service and always get out pretty quick. The prices are reasonable compared to other vets in the local area. I would recommend them to trust with your babies.

Wonderful vet! Great clinician - catches things other vets have missed. Really cares about your animals, not about squeezing the last dime out of every visit.
