I just realized today my family and I have been going to Benicia Family Dentistry for easily over 25 years and if I could remember correctly it is probably very close to 30 years. Just as everyone else is sharing with these reviews the staff at Benicia Family Dentistry have always done their best make me feel as comfortable as possible each time I visit. 25 times 3 times a year plus those other appointments added in there probably come in close to 100 visits for just myself. Lets face it, no one enjoys the anticipation of a dentist visit though I can tell you I have always felt better for having done so and feel confident I will always be properly cared for while there. They are always very professional and most important, friendly. Something else I have noticed and appreciated over the years is Dr Parish and Dr Hutchens have always placed an importance on staying up with the leading dental care technology and training for themselves and staff. It takes time and cash to stay ahead of the others and truly care for the service provided to us clients. It is obvious this investment in their staff and facility pays off for people like us. Anyway, Dont hesitate to trust the Drs and Staff of Benicia Family Dentistry, they will do the right thing.

Due to bad experiences at other dentists in the past I had avoided having my teeth looked at for over 20 years! I finally gathered the nerve and made an appointment at Benicia Family Dentistry but I had built up so much anxiety and plain old fear it felt like I was going to the gallows instead of the dentist. All of that quickly vanished when I finally got into their facility. They are so chill, so VERY professional, and SO NICE! They made sure I was comfortable and explained everything to me very clearly. I had all my fillings replaced and felt NO PAIN whatsoever. Seriously! I have a whole new outlook on my own dental health now thanks to these wonderful people. I really feel like they literally saved me from the horrible fate I was heading toward due to my anxiety over the dentists chair and I am so grateful. I recommend this practice without reservation.

My family and I recently started going to Benicia Family Dentistry and so far I have been very impressed. I took my 5 year old daughter there for check up and was a bit nervous, as I know she is not that font of going to the dentist. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a great big smile by Stacy at the front desk. She was so friendly and made my daughter and I feel very relaxed and comfortable. The dental hygienist was great as well. She interacted so well with my daughter and took her time to explain each step of the process. Dr. Parish gave excellent service and my daughter liked him a lot and was not afraid at all. Overall, we received excellent service and I highly recommend them.

After growing up with Dr. Parish and his staff, my dental coverage changed about 7 years ago and I had to go somewhere else. When I got a new job and better dental benefits, the first thing I did was switch back to Dr. Parish. His staff are friendly, his hygienists are well educated, gentle, and friendly, and there is just no other place Id want to go. He does composite fillings only, offers gas, and is always on the cutting edge of Dentistry. Recently he started using a laser for fillings, which cuts down the time, and does not require Novocaine! Its AMAZING! Seriously, you cant go wrong being a patient here.

went in for cleaning and X-rays. While they have lots of nifty hardware, the cleaning left much to be desired. Dentist recommended several items to follow up on and, when asked the price, said they would be about $200 per tooth. When I checked out to pay, estimate had doubled to about $400 per tooth. I went to another dentist for a consultation on the recommended work. He basically said the work was not needed and that problem I was experiencing was related to a jaw muscle that needed to be palpated. Dont want to believe that they were simply looking for more work, but hard to escape that conclusion.

I recently had a procedure done which required me to be in the chair for over two hours! I was very nervous about the pain, but it ended up being relatively painless, and although I was in the chair for over two hours it went by very fast. This would be have been torture at any other office, but at Benicia Family Dentistry they focus on the patients and making them as comfortable as possible.

It doesnt matter who I see when I come in, because everyone is so personable. I know a lot of people dread going to the dentist, but thanks to the doctors and techs at Benicia Family Dentistry, I actually look forward to coming in. They take their time when they are cleaning my teeth and have a lot of patience if I need breaks. I never feel like they are just rushing me along.

I love this office! Dr. Parish and his staff are very efficient, they always follow up and go out of their way to obtain information needed to understand your overall dental health. The dental assistants are really sweet and do everything they can to make you comfortable while you are getting work done. I highly recommend this office. They offer outstanding service!

I am always very comfortable at this office. To be honest, I sometimes doze off in the chair. But in all seriousness if you are even just a little bit nervous about going to the dentist the staff here really work with you to make you feel at ease. They are wonderful and do a fantastic job taking care of their patients.
