Ive been coming here for more than 2 years now. I used to live in the area but now travel about an hour and a half from Yuba City just for Dr. Ocampo. Dentists are usually the last place you want to be and most people hate going. I keep coming back here because of their the friendliness and comforting appeal of not only the employees, but the ambiance that the office/clinic just exudes. It took me about 10 years to find a dentist that I truly trust. THIS IS NOT YOUR STEREOTYPICAL DENTIST PRACTICE. Atmosphere: Very modern and sleek, nothing scary looking and it doesnt even smell like your typical dentist office. Even the bathroom is pleasant with their waterfall colorful faucet! And yes, the chairs do have a massage capability, and yes you can watch a movie or whatever you like in the Xfinity world of cable. People: Friendly, approachable and they answer all questions and concerns. Dr. Ocampo always asks if Im comfortable and if I am in pain to definitely let her know by raising her my hand. She is always aware of my needs even if I cannot communicate verbally. She does pay attention to your non-verbal communication while youre on the comfy chair. A little side story on this... one time when I was in that chair of comfort getting cavities filled, I was watching an intense drama movie called About Time with Rachel McAdams (love her), and nearing the end, I was an emotional mess and about to cry. Keep in mind that I am getting cavities filled and a lot of intense stuff is happening in my mouth. I really could care less what was going on in my mouth. So I get to the tear-jerker part and I am totally crying with my mouth wide open because of the movie. Dr. Ocampo and her assistant ultimately thought they were hurting me, but all I could do is point and the TV and cry and laugh a little as well!!! LOL. They eventually got the jist of why I was crying.. but who would have thought you can cry at a movie while at the dentist?? Just my last cleaning visit, it was so hard for me to get out of that dentist chair because I felt so comfortable. Its almost like the feeling you get right after you get a facial or massage. I do have bad flossing habits so the staff always reminds me to take charge of that in my life and any other recommendations they may have. Dr. Ocampo for life, best dentist, best staff, best facility. Cant imagine to go anywhere else for any of my dentistry needs.

Fantastic first appointment! Greeted upon entering office. All insurance was verified prior to arriving. Taken in quickly and moved right along. Very informative exam with all details explained. Quick turn around for next appointment. Will keep you advised :) Second appointment did not disappoint! Dr. Ocampo is Wonderful! Staff is great! Thanks Gloria, Annie and Dr. Ocampo for a wonderful experience! Great people! Super knowledgeable! And their care and compassion shines! Se you all on the 27th! Love my smile again! I really recommend this place if youre looking fpr a good dentist. The work theyve done on my teeth is unbelievable, fast, friendly and professional. Im so glad I came here first and unlike other places Ive seen, they let you choose what movie you want to see while they work on your teeth. They had Starwars so for that I Im giving it an automatic 5 star.
