I had not seen a dentist in over 5 years, considering the mess my former dentist had left behind you can say it was a BIG job.. Short said, I hate dentists...I dont just dislike them , no I HATE them. Luckily I got in Dr. Mike (Michael Narodovich) and I will NEVER see another dentist again!!! My treatment started about a year ago. I spend every other week in the chair getting a total of 15 crowns, laser treatment on my gums, a few rootcanals, and a no more bacteria tray. You might think it sounds like they went over bored...but when I went there, I went there with the thought..."just knock them all out and give me implants!" I was so done with that mess, the pain and not even talking about the smell coming out of my mouth! After my initial consultation I agreed to go with crows, which allows me to keep the natural feeling of chewing instead of being able to chew bricks without feeling anything. A year later (and a few referrals and more happy white teeth friends later) I am speaking in public in front of big crows, I smile again, my gums are not bleeding or being sensitive... I finally can enjoy life again! And for others having crows, talk to them about the periotray! I have to admit I had gotten lazy on that and my teeth got a little sensitive again. This tray and the solution help keep your teeth clean and bad bacteria free, especially right at the gums. And for the once having a BIG job like me needed..talk to them about their payment plans or smile insurance!! The are so helpful all around!!!

I arrived to my appointment to have minor cavities filled and was hurried to the back where a dental assistant placed numbing swabs in my mouth. Then the dentist, Michael Narodovich came in and said, "Open your mouth." I thought he was going to take a look at my teeth, because he still had not said a word to me about who he was of what he was doing. All I saw was the big syringe and needle going into my mouth. As soon as he removed the numbing needle, I said, "Hi, I usually like to introduce myself before people start jabbing needles into my mouth." He then said, "Hi, Im Dr. Mike." Then walked away. I heard all of the packaging opening behind me for my procedure and realized, these people were performing dental work on a conveyor belt...like inoculating cattle, so I got up to leave. When I told this Dr. Mike how I felt, he only apologized that I didnt feel as though he was making my experience "unique" and that what was being done was "routine" and "simple" so he didnt feel the need to explain. I left with a numb mouth and jaw with no dental work done. DO NOT GO TO THIS OFFICE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HERDED THROUGH DENTAL WORK LIKE CATTLE. As for me, I want a dentist who has the decency to introduce him/herself and let me know what they are going to do BEFORE I get injected with a needle.

I had my first appt there today - a very thorough exam and tons of x-rays. Very hi-tech compared to my prior dentist (who I just loved). Everyone was friendly and polite and I had no problems. Place was clean. It was a busy office - a little noisy, but then again, for 20 yrs Id gone to a dental office with only one dentist and 4 staff, so more noise is to be expected. Im going back next week for a cleaning -if my rating changes, Ill let you know. Update: Ive just completed my 3rd visit there and Im still very happy with CHD. Very nice staff, very professional but still friendly. My teeth feel great. Something I was considering yesterday is that initially I was really turned off by the fact that this office is in a strip mall - in between a Dollar Store and a Food Maxx. That really turned me off, as I my old dentist was in a beautiful high-rise building, exclusively for medical professionals. Well, Im over that snobbery. You can get excellent care here - it has to do with the qualified staff, not where you park, so dont let the location turn you off. Besides, it makes shopping easier afterwards! Check them out!

I cant give this dentist enough stars. The staff are extremely nice and respectful. They help you in anyway possible. I found them while looking for emergency dental Friday evening. They didnt have an appointment til Monday but it was better than waiting for 2 weeks with my dentist. They got me in right away did the x-rays and got the doctor over to me quickly. He pulled my x rays up on a screen in the room and explained exactly what the problem was and what I was looking at in the x-rays. There wasnt a moment when I was wondering if someone forgot about me or how long it would be etc. It was not very long and the dental assistant even let me know what she was doing every few minutes ( She was trying to find a piece of the x-ray machine which another D.A.. was using.) Which wasnt very long. This is by far the best dentist I have been to and I am grateful they got me in as a new patient extremely fast when I was in high amounts of pain. The atmosphere of the office is very professional and it appeared the staff get the along great. The lobby is very nice and clean. Was not packed when I got there.

Well I finally did something that I have been avoiding for far too long.... I went to the dentist. I have had a fear of the dentist since I was very young and had a traumatic experience. I was in a bike accident and knocked out my front tooth. With my tooth in a glass of milk my folks rushed me to the nearest hospital and the Dr rammed my tooth back in my head and sent me in my way. After a few follow up appointments I was done with the dentist , and was willing to just accept the way my smile looked. Last Friday I over came my fear and went in for a much needed cleaning and to get a couple cavities filled. Now that it is all over and done with I wish that I had done it sooner. Oh and I forgot to mention that I was able to sleep through the whole thing! Dr Mike is awesome and I highly recommend this place. If you have a fear of the dentist this place is for you. They make you feel relaxed and comfortable. Thanks again to the whole staff.

I have been going to citrus heights dental since i moved to California back in 2003. I have only used them and plan to stay here. They are very friendly, helpful with insurance and even if you dont have dental insurance they will work with you to help you out. They have improved on there customer service over the years, have expanded there business, they are a all in one dental office. Highly recommend them. They even have tvs to watch while you get your dental work done, so its a relaxing and nice atmosphere here. Again on the helpful side, if you have any questions, need help dont be affraid to ask, and they are never pushy on you, they will go over options for what you need and the decision is up to you.
