i used to take all my pets to Dr. Anns old vet clinic off of glendora. until last year, i took my dog Nikkie in for a nail trim and noticed that Dr. Anns cards and name plaque where gone i found out that she had left the clinic and was MIA or so they told us. well my dog got sick latter that month wouldnt eat nonstop throwing up so we took her in. the doc that replaced Dr. Ann was a total jerk. he said it was something easy to treat and shed get better so he charged us an arm and leg almost $700 and didnt do much really but give her fluids and take one x-ray and said thats all she needed, my dog only got worse. when we asked them where Dr. Ann had gone moved to they refused to tell us and said she no longer worked as a vet. so we Google her name and found her new clinic PET DOCTORS OF INDUSTRY. we took our Nikkie out of the glendora clinic her iv bag attached and all and went right to Dr. Anns new location. sadly it was way worse than what the other vet had said. Dr. Ann found that her pancreas and kidneys had begun to shut down and that all other organs would follow. Nikkie would have had a painful passing if we didnt put her down she had been in the vet for a week and a half with no improvement. its never easy to make that choice. Dr. Ann and the receptionists all stayed in the room with me as i held her head comforting her and letting her no what a good girl she was and kissing her goodbye as she passed. i think we all cried for sometime after that they where all so comforting as if i was with family. as we went to pay the bill we saw that Dr. Ann had greatly reduced our bill that was well over a thousand dollars . does that sound heartless?? i think had we found Dr. Ann and Dr. maria sooner Nikkie would have maid it. i no in my heart they did all they could and took very good care of our girl in her last days R.I.P NIKKIE. on another occasion, my 18 year old cat developed this skin condition where he was literally eating himself alive. he had issues with flys and it drove him nuts, he had to wear an e collar to keep him from hurting himself further. well one afternoon my cat figured out how to get his collar off and was out of control pulling his skin off.. fur and blood everywhere. i couldnt drive at the time so i called Dr.Ann for advise, she took her own lunch break and rushed to my house to help me with my cat she even rigged his collar so it wouldnt come off anymore and charged me nothing for the home visit. and when i couldnt afford to pay up front for his tumor removal a payment plan was set up. so you call her heartless.... heartless is you not asking about any kind of payment option or not willing to help your daughter with any sort of deposit. because in a matter of life and death she would never turn you and your pet away. i wouldnt trust anyone else with my pets. So please dont judge this vet office from this one misleading bitter comment losing a pet is never easy. all of the employees there are bright and cheerful, very helpful kind and compassionate about the dogs and cats they treat... theres nothing heartless about Dr. Ann or her staff.

I had switched our vet doctor to a women vet thinking she would be better in a way that she would be more gentle and open hearted. Now, my six yr old chihuahua named Yoda got sick starting Wednesday April 21, 2010. He was breathing very fast and heavily, refused to eat or drink anything for three days so my daughter and I took him to our new doctor at Pet Doctors of Industry on Friday April 24, 2010. We discussed his symptoms to her. So she told us that it could be many things wrong with him and that she needed to take an x-ray to see if it has anything to do with his lungs or anything else. she gave us an estimate for all kinds of shots blood test x-rays and medications to start out with; and she stated that he need to be hospitalized there at the clinic. Which rounded off to over $500. I told her that i get my check on the next Friday coming up (I was laid off from work) and that all my daughter had with her was $83. And she said well he might not even make it because his breathing was already bad at the time and he doesnt want to eat or drink anything. We had asked her if my daughter could give her everything that she had with her and if i can give her the rest when picked him up on the next Friday but she No it had to be paid in full. So i said what was the next option so the Doctor said we can send him home with medication and give him 2 shot. so she made changes to the bill to read $83 dollars. If she only had a heart to say "you can leave him here so i can help him and pay me later" and now my Yoda died Today, April 26, 2010. I have 3 other pets and I will NEVER take my pets to the Pet Doctors ever again. RIP yoda.

Last year as my rescue was beginning to grow and I realized that I was not going to be able to just go from vet to vet for the lowest costs to help all the dogs that is when I came across PDI on the internet. My relationship with the entire office has grown in the last 9 months, they have cared for almost 30 dogs in my rescue. Everything from spay/neuters, shots, dental and skin tests. My own little old man (a 14 year old blind Min Pin) became very ill and it was clear to me that I needed to make the painful decision to put him to sleep. Dr. Anne was the doctor that gave my George the injection. As I held him in my arms and cried my heart out the compassion I received from Dr. Anne was genuine. Both Dr. Anne and Dr. Maria have shown me and my dogs respect and care. I am sorry that the one person lost their dog but I cannot believe that the Drs. at PDI would not help. They have extended credit to my rescue and I am in the office often and overhear people who get credit from outside sources or are mailing a check, etc., the entire office staff is great and I will not use any other vet for my rescue or for my personal dogs. I live in Ontario and drive to City of Industry because I trust Dr. Anne and Dr. Maria.

Ive never been more pleased with a veterinarian office. I have taken my pets everywhere, and now that I found this office, I wont ever have my pups seen anywhere else. Even though its quite a drive from home-Im happy knowing that the drive is worth the service. I never once felt rushed or hurried out of the exam room. The Dr. explained everything so thoroughly, and made sure that all my questions were answered before we left. Even the receptionists at the front desk were helpful and friendly. I really am extremely happy to have found this office. Small yes, but with big hearts and open arms. ***VERY AFFORDABLE***
