I went to this dentist today as a first time patient. I had a loose tooth with a lot of pain. After the initial exam and x-rays were done, an estimate with my copay was presented to me in the amount of $900 and was told I needed cadaver bone put in my gum. I did not have this kind of money at the time, so I requested to just have the tooth pulled and a deep cleaning. I was then told that the dentist would not extract my tooth without me agreeing to have this bone inserted in my gum. Really? I just got done telling them I couldnt afford it, but was still in a lot of pain! I ended up leaving without having anything done and forced to make another appointment at a different dentist. I suggest you do the same if you are considering this dental office. You will leave feeling like you are being ripped off!!

Dr Banerjee is excellent! I have been going to Canyon Dental for a couple of years and they have always exceeded my expectations, they consistently go above and beyond. Dr Banerjee and her staff have always been on time, professional, friendly, extra gentle and patient (for those of us who need it), and most importantly, honest. This is not a typical pushy large corporation dental chain that attempts to scare you into unneeded treatments and overpriced procedures. Canyon Dental is local private practice dental office with an excellent dentist and a fantastic office staff. I have, and will continue to recommend Dr Banerjee to anyone who wants a better dental experience than what has unfortunately become the norm.

Dont be deceived by appearences! First time patient! Very nice looking place! Friendly receptionist and Dental assistant! Not much to say about the doctor! maybe I caught her on a bad day but she seemed very distant! (kinda like when you visit someone and they are annoyed by your arrival) She could be a bit friendlier and this place would of won me over! Place is very sterile looking! wouldnt recomend as a Childrens Dental!!! I would of like to see the Doctor been a little friendlier towards me and my child due to us being first time patients! Normally I get that from the staff but not the doctors! Tables were turned this time!

I have to give Dr Banerje a five out of five. She very concerned that you feel no pain and that your comfortable. I have been to many dentist and all I can say is she is the best hands down. If you could see what she has done for me you would see that doctor Banerjee is a true artist. The staff are the best polite and friendly and always make room for you if they can. So if you dont like going to those old worn out dentist who dont care and just want you in and out go to Dr Banerje oh shes not bad on the eyes either.. Dave o .

The office staff and dental hygienist were very nice and very good at their jobs. I have to agree with an earlier review that he dentist, Shikha Banerjee, is rather distant and seems like she would be happier anywhere but at her job. Since I dont go to my dentist to make friends, I only knocked off one star because I think it could really put a lot of people off.
