Ive posted a review months ago and was given the information to contact Western Dentals SMRT which I did. Turns out they are just as bad as their dentist offices. I received a letter stating that they were checking into my complaint and that I would hear from them within 30 days. That was two months ago and still have not heard from them. In the mean time the dentist office still refuses to finish the work. What am I suppose to do? Original Post: I went to Western Dental in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. in January 2016 for tooth ache. I knew going that I would need my bottom teeth pulled and would need dentures. I waited to see the dentist longer than I saw the dentist. She came in looked at my teeth and x-rays rambled off what needed to be done and left the young woman with her to explain my options. The dentist did nothing for the pain I was in at the time. The young woman proceed to tell me the teeth had to be pulled and that I would need bone graphs for me to be able to get dentures. Im on Denti-Cal which does not cover bone graphs. She gave me payment options and sent me on my way stating they would contact me as soon as they received approval from Denti-Cal for the rest of the work. 6 weeks later I called to find out what was going on. They claimed they were still Waiting on Denti-Cal. Another week passes and I receive a letter of Denial from Denti-Cal. Western Dental had turned in an incomplete request for my upper denture. So I call them to find out why they requested for the upper and not the lower. Was informed they will not do the lower dentures with out replacing the upper. Ok. First off there is nothing wrong with my upper plate. I went in because I was in pain which I was still having. I was told to come in they would go ahead and remove the teeth and resubmit the approval request. I made the down payment for the bone graph, my had teeth pulled and graphs put in at the end of March 2016. Its now the end of June 2016 and they still have not resubmitted the request and on several occasions said they had. After talking to Denti-Cal I have found out other than the original request they have submitted nothing other than for payment for the teeth they pulled. And I still have not got my dentures and its causing problems for me at work. Yet they expect me to make my payments on time for bone graphs that are doing me no good. The office manager office staff lies to their patients. I called several times a day for over a week and was told repeatedly that the office manager was not in or was off. She When you try to talk to them about whats going on the give you the run around. They are rude. UPDATE: Do NOT waste your time contacting their SMRT or Headquarters. They only make excuses for the dental offices. They dont even bother researching anything other than if you owe them money or not!!!

Terrible!!! I can not stand walking into this Western Dental office or calling. Simple things that should take 10 minutes maximum usually take about 30-40 minutes. For example, I walked in one time to pay my bill and it took 30 minutes and 3 of the receptionists to process the payment. When I call this office, im usually transferred to about 2-3 different people and I have to re-explain the problem each time. They usually transfer me to the corporate office(who is equally useless), then the Corporate Office transfers me right back to the Rancho Cucamonga office to explain the problem all over again. It is so aggravating! I have literally skipped ortho appointments on purpose because dealing with this office gives me a migraine. Beware: they only have ortho appointments available on Thursdays and Fridays which makes it impossible to get an appointment that isnt a month or two out. Get your Dental and Ortho services some place else!

Horrible!!! My daughter had an appointment at 12pm they told me it would be 1-2 hours wait so i decided to leave and call them within an hour to check if i can take her back in they told me over the phone it would be 40 mins so i get there at 1:30 pm. I come back in just to keep waiting! Talked to the receptionist to see how much longer i will have to keep my 5 year old waiting without eating lunch due to the fact that they say not to eat because of the anesthesia can cause her to vomit while in treatment. How can they keep a 5 year old waiting 2.5 plus hrs! Thats ridiculous! Dont over book and have kids waiting simple as that!

What can I say but bad medicine. Im on blood thinners. As well as allergic to aspirin and all its derivatives. Yet after multiple visits this office still doesnt seem to recall this. What is the purpose of a patient file if not to record shuch things. This visit the dentist insists on a procedure I can not afford and prescribes Motrin for pain. Motrin is what boys and girls? Its an Aspen derivitive and could kill me. I will never set foot in that office again . And am seriously considering reporting them and filing suet . Bad bad medicine . Be careful.

I had a private office that i would go to and today i felt more like a family member at western dental. Very professional and friendly staff! Wait time was 0 minutes, the cost was very affordable. Miriam made me feel like i was at home and Dr. Jack was very efficient made everything painless! And the front office cristina lucy and sonia are amazing i would recommend them for anyone that is in need of not only a dentist but a place where you can count on for all your checkups! Will be comig here from now on!!

Plan on spending at LEAST 2-3 hours here for SIMPLE procedures. They even had the dentist walk up to me, when my children and I were already in the back, and ask if another patient could go ahead of me because the child was in distress. So, I say yes, and rescheduled. They call to remind me of my apt, and tell me to bring stuff for my kids since they know I will be waiting, again. I ask, OK, should I just come in at 930 instead of 830? She asks if I want to reschedule my apt.....dont bother coming here.

I have gotten all of my work done from this western dental....and I was so satisfied ....I got bracies,teeth fillings,laser bleaching and my veeners.....two front teeth .....a female doctor there did a awesome awesome job on my temporary veneers...and when my actual veneers came in the shade was a bit off..she reordered the veneers and I got more temps....they are very nice here on the ortho side and general ..the financing is great too....now my teeth are white,big and healthy .....

I had a great experience at this location! I was able to schedule my appointment with ease and was impressed that their insurance coordinator called me ahead of time to gain insurance info. In order to verify prior to my visit. My wait time was short and I felt the dentist and his assistant were very knowledgeable. Everyone seemed friendly and given my experience I would def. recommend others.

Very disappointed that I was given a bait and switch regarding advertised pricing and misinformation on price matching for my daughters braces when my appointment was set up. During our consultation the office staff was pleasant and the doctor was warm and appeared to be very knowledgeable. If I decide to use their service will update further.
