Years ago I had friends that had back surgery. They were all miserable afterwards. I swore I would NEVER have back surgery. Fast forward 30 years and I could not stand the lower back pain. My GP recommended Dr. Philip Orisek for my problems. I went to see Dr. Orisek and it was determined that I had spinal stenosis in L3 to L5. I chose to have the recommended surgery. I am 3 plus months since surgery and want to say I had forgotten what life was like without back pain. Dr. Orisek is a Fantastic surgeon and a caring man. I have had several surgeries in my life and this is far and away the BEST experience of all. Everyone, his P.A. Phil Lanum and his office staff, are all caring, concerned and professional. A note about the office. I have read reviews about office appointment wait times. All I can say is bring a book, tablet or cell as occasionally a wait can happen. Both Dr. Orisek and P.A. Phil Lanum care enough about their patients that all questions are answered and appointment times may run over. Believe me when I say a small wait to see them is a minor inconvenience for the excellent care you will receive! Thank you Dr. Orisek and Staff, Lou Berry

Dr. Orisek literally gave me my life back. When I first met with him I could not sit, walk, or stand for more than two minutes without having back spasms and be in excruciating pain. All I was able to do was be flat on my back with ice packs. Not the life I had imagined in my golden years! While it takes time to be seen, every moment in that waiting room was worth it. My spinal fusion surgery was the most advanced, to date. My recovery time took, literally, less than for a bad haircut to grow out !!! I cannot say enough about how wonderful, professional, and caring Dr. Orisek, and his staff are. If youre lucky enough to qualify for their treatment, please rest assured that youre in the VERY BEST OF HANDS!!! I owe them my mobility which is greater than, well, almost anything to me.
