Dr. Harris demonstrates behaviors of a burned out physician that will stereotype any patient while absolutely sabotaging a patients genuine attempt of seeking professional healthcare for an acutely urgent medical problem. This doctor (Im assuming), never introduced herself when entering the patient exam room, but rather swiftly opened the door stating to the patient, "this is not my thing, you will need to go to the hospital, etc......." No wonder ERs are overloaded...... She continued to make little to no eye contact while asking and receiving answers to her bland questions yet unable to keep sequences of my history accurate. Dr. Harris demeanor from the time she entered the room displayed a unprofessional healthcare team member of Yubadocs Urgent Care, with no interest in treating the patient or advising a follow up for re-evaluation. When signing the facilitys multiple disclaimer forms my medical issue was covered as a diagnosis that was permitted to be treated by their facility. Otherwise I would have sought another facility. I received this hideous healthcare "treatment" for the sum of $170.00. How absorb my insurance company and co-pay; paid for less than a 5 minute miserable interaction with Dr. Harrison for nothing more than absolutely "no treatment" but rather a mouthful of attitude. The physicians conduct would better serve hardcore inmates with her callous, heartless and unprofessional demeanor. And Id feel sorry for the inmates but she clearly doesnt belong practicing in the "real world." Im sure if my chart was audited Dr. Harris charted she spent far more than 5 minutes with the patient. When I left the office there was one patient waiting in the lobby, obviously the clinic was not overbooked. Shame on you Dr. Harris! I am a Travel RN who works with a multitude of patients from addiction issues to organ transplants. I treat both patient and family members with compassion and empathy. I expect the same in return when Im the patient, which is extremely rare. I am absolutely appalled Grass Valley would put up with Dr. Harriss negligent, confrontational, sadistic, inhumane, hateful, spiteful, brutishly disrespectful and incomprehensible unprofessional conduct. As a seasoned Registered Nurse I am shocked! However, in moving forward; I will say the front desk staff and Kyle (medical assistance), were very professional and deserve the recognition of their professional attributes they provide as team member of Yubadocs Urgent Care.

What ever happened to small business owners valuing there customers and having integrity? This place has gone from bad to alright back to bad or even worse. I have had to go there throughout the years either as a patient or with someone who was and with the exception of one employee Loren, which from what I have been heard they treated so poorly that she eventually walked out, every experience I have had has been awful. The owners must be totally greedy, thoughtless and most of all idiots if they think they are providing good service to the patients or our community. If they cant even realize and hold on to the one amazing employee they had, then I am not sure how they expect to hold on to patients. I guess the owners are just lucky they dont have any competition besides the hospital ER on evenings and weekends and thanks to the over population of patients to doctor ratio in this community, most weekdays too. Its just too bad they must have realized that and it shows in the service they provide. As I said, Loren was the only employee that I always had a great experience with and who seemed to know what she was talking about and how to explain it so I understood. Without her working there I wont go back and tell everyone I know not to. You are better off going to the ER because you will end up spending a bunch of money for stuff you have no idea what or why your doing it and then you end up leaving the same way you came in except more confused, with less money and you still dont know whats wrong with you. These owners need to wake up and stop being so worried about the almighty dollar and worry more about providing sympathetic care and employing knowledgeable, helpful kind employees that stay there permanently because they dont run them off. Im surprised they are even still open.

I have been here a few times in this past year, and I have absolutely nothing good to say about it. The wait in the lobby is understandable, for being an urgent care facility. Other than that, I can not see why they are so awful when it comes to patient care. About six months ago, I went there for something that I was very concerned about. After waiting an hour and a half in the lobby, I got into a room where a nurse took a few vitals, and asked what was wrong. After she left, I waited for another hour and a half in the room and when the doctor came in, he had no idea why I was there and I had to explain my problem all over again. So after all that he decided to do some test, and run some lab work. One of the tests was a pregnancy test. After he left the room, and I peed in the cup, a nurse came back for me, told me they wanted blood work ( which is done at another facility that I must drive to) and I can check out. Not a single person told me if I was or was not pregnant. A few days ago I went again, worried about appendicitis. I wait 1 hour in the lobby, tell the nurse whats wrong, wait about 30-45minutes in the room, have my stomach pressed on a few times by the doctor, who then asks for urine for a pregnancy test and sediment exam. After this, I wait in the room for about an hour, just to have someone come in and take to to pay, AGAIN! Also, again, I have to go get blood work, off site. Now, after two days of waiting for my blood work to come back, still in constant pain, thinking it is my appendix, they have not contacted me, and I am about to think that I just spent $200 just to have to go to the ER. I dont know if it is just me, but I have NEVER had a doctor come back into my room and explain what they are thinking, or how any of the in house tests they preformed went.

Yuba Docs is fantastic. Roger Hicks the Doctor is great, the P.A.s are knowledgeable, and the office and nursing staff are quite considerate and do everything they can to make you feel welcome. I used to only use them for urgent care instead of the hospital emergency room, but I liked them so much I chose Dr. Hicks as my primary physician. I know that they cost a bit more than just a standard copay, but I can walk in at any time and never have to wait much more than an hour. Before I had insurance they were one of my only options but now I wouldnt go anywhere else.

The staff at YubaDocs is great! They are all knowledgeable and patient! I have seen quite a few of the providers at their facility and have been extremely satisfied with the care they have provided. Being open on weekends and most holidays proves how much they care about their patients in the area and people traveling through the foothills! I strongly recommend YubaDocs to anyone who is looking for great medical care with a staff that really cares about the patients!!!
