Ive been taking my sweet dog to Irvine Pet Complex for nearly 10 years. In the beginning, when my dog was younger, visits were routine - shots, teeth cleaning, occasional eye or ear infection however generally all routine. The staff was always friendly to me however more importantly they were kind and friendly to my dog. While I appreciated this - I expected as much - so what makes Irvine Pet Complex different to me today? Well, as my dog aged - he needed more than routine - and so did I. My pet was going deaf and was beginning to lose his sight and I was becoming more and more emotional about him and his health. It was during this time that I came to value the staff and the DRs at Irvine Pet Complex far more than I had in the past. The time and patience each DR took with me and my pet to educate me and to assure me of what to expect was nothing short of remarkable. At one point I literally sobbed on a DRs shoulder in the examination room during which time the DR patiently waited for me to pull myself together, assuring me everything was going to be alright. The tests that were recommended to determine my pets state of health were of tremendous value to me and my pet. I had something concrete that I could depend on. When my dogs needs changed - I communicated them to the staff and they listened and responded accordingly Please go slow...hes aging (17)...hes deaf...please be gentle. In a busy office with so much to do, its not easy to shift gears. This staff shifts gears. Also, the staff is stable. They work together well. And the DRs are seamless and sensitive and available. I am very grateful for the care my dog has received and for the high level of professionalism displayed by the DRs. I strongly recommend the veterinary services of the Irvine Pet Complex for a pet of any age, young or old or in between. These people care and they are highly skilled as well. Thank you Irvine Pet Complex!

Jackson, my five year old kitty, was very sick in December. I took him to IPC on a Sunday and they found he had Severe kidney problems. After a few visits and under their care, Jackson is now eating and zipping through the house again. They really are wonderful with Jackson, have a great bedside manner with panicked Mom (me) and provide excellent educated care for my Jackson baby. FIVE STARS! Jackson turned for the worse in June and he is now in kitty heaven. Once again the doctors and staff at Irvine Pet Complex were amazing with their care of Jackson and helping me with the hard decisions. They are so compassionate with our babies and with us Moms! I always recommend IPC to my friends and my family!!! Irvine Pet Complex was so wonderful in 2014 when I had to say goodbye to my dog, Rocky. He was 14 years old and was my 80 pound Black Lab Chow mix baby!!! Rocky was my buddy since I found him in a field at 8 weeks old. Very hard to make the decision and follow through with parting with him. The staff and doctors at IPC were so nice, helpful and knew just what to say and do that day to help me through the process and to make Rocky as comfortable as possible. From the moment I called, they just took care of everything. Jackson, my cat, is very anxious going anywhere that requires the cat carrier! Poor guy! He is a challenge to hold still but the doctors talk, pet, hold him so he just calms down. After a just minute, Jackson is so mellow. I have told family and friends that I think they are "Cat Whisperers". They also always provide me with good information on his health and anything I need to do differently. With Rocky and with Jackson, I really trust the doctors and staff at Irvine Pet Complex.

MAJOR RIPOFF! STAY AWAY! THESE GUYS GIVE VETERINARIANS A BAD NAME! These guys wanted to charge me over $2000 for a surgery to remove my dogs cysts. My other vet charged me less than $300. These guys DID charge me over $600 to remove my dogs nail after it was damaged and hanging on by a nerve. My other vet said it would have been $60 at their office (I couldnt go to the other vet because it happened on a Sunday). Finally, these guys lied to me about the affect of heartworm meds on an infected dog. I was 95% sure my dog did not have heartworm, but wanted to get her on preventative treatment. They told me I needed to get a heartworm test because, according to them, if I give an infected preventative dog heartworm treatment that treatment will actually kill the dog. Obviously, I wasnt gonna take the risk and I allowed them to do the heartworm test (she tested negative in case you were wondering). Later, I found out that what they told me was a LIE. In many states in the south, people actually treat their infected dogs by giving them preventative medication...its not the best course of treatment, but its not gonna kill your dog either. I hope I never have to use these guys again, but sometimes they are the only viable option because of their extended hours. I will say that the treatment these guys provide is fine.

I was referred here by a friend who had used vet and boarding services for her dogs here for years and years. After an unfortunate incident at my prior (also Irvine based) vet, I tried Dr. Harner and team. They have been my only choice since 2011. Over the years, several different doctors have examined, vaccinated and treated my kitties - routinely and for severe injuries. All docs are equally good with my cats, so I cant recommend one in particular - youll be in good hands with any of them. All the staff are knowledgeable and helpful, very responsive and informative, and friendly. The office is spotless and large enough that my cats are not too stressed by the other animals coming and going (IPC has a large day boarding contingent). Only once in 6 years has a doctor been significantly off schedule and that was due to an emergency surgery. They have many newer technologies (laser!) and access to advanced diagnostic testing to confirm/deny different health conditions. I think the prices are comparable to other area vets, and I am comfortable with the charges I receive for routine care and office visits. I generally visit after work, later in the evening and on weekends which is a huge customer benefit, not having to juggle work schedule around pet care needs. Two thumbs enthusiastically up for IPC.

Horrible. Upon my first research after getting my dog in 2012 all the reviews were bad .All saying this place over vaccinates and over charged. But, however at the time I didnt know much about vet costs and what was needed. I love my new dog and wanted to make sure he had everything he needed. So Ive been coming here since and had a great experience. After coming here for 5 years this has confirmed the reviews from 2012 and going a few times to another vet. My dog needed to be groomed. So of course a $50 groom is not all you pay. OH He needs this and that just to get a groom ( Charge Charge Charge) . Upon picking up my dog next day I notice my dog is drooling and one side of his face or mouth is hanging . HES SHAKING HIS HEAD SPIT FLYING EVERYWHERE AND DIGGING HIS EARS. SO I GO BACK THEY HAVE THE NERVE CHARGE ME AGAIN NOW A 50 DOLLAR GROOM IS 500. MY DOG IS STILL SICK AFTER THEY PROBABLY ABUSED HIM. HE WASNT LIKE THAT BEFORE. THEY SAY OH LET ME CALL YOU BACK WE CARE BLAH bBLAH BLAH! No return calls nothing. THEY took my money and are done dont care what they did to Him. If I tell you more of have to write a book. NEVER GOING BACK!!!!
