I have mixed feelings. They let us bring our dog in immediately because he was very ill and exhibiting symptoms that needed urgent immediate care. That was a positive in my book definitely! The price for services rendered was very high, this clinic is not where we normally take our pets to, but since it was urgent I paid the bill. The following day I received a follow up call. I thought, thats very sweet.. until I was put on the line with the vet and advised to put our dog down because he is suffering and when did I want to make an appointment to bring him in to be put down. Our dog is 16 years old and a well loved member of our family. I told the vet I would think about her advice to put my dog down if I could determine his quality of life was no longer good enough but didnt feel he was interested in being euthanized and more interested in recovering and ended the conversation. My dog woofed at me, wagged his tail and proceeded to get himself up to take me for a short walk. As a dog mother, that was my confirmation that indeed, he was not ready to be put down because he is suffering too much and wants to be put to sleep. I decided to take our sick furr baby in for a second opinion to a vet we previously visited. The vet did not initially disagree nor agree with citrus medical clinic, that was a plus in my book. They ran tests and actually determined possible misdiagnosis and prescribed the appropriate medicines and recovery plan. To make a month long story short, our dog is old and sickly but back in fairly good spirits and not dead or needing to be euthanized. The saving vet has become our permanent veterinary clinic and we are very grateful. In my heart I want to believe the vet that misdiagnosed our dog wasnt looking to just fatten her wallet and it was an honest mistake. The initial visit was more than $500 plus her wanting us to bring our dog in to be put down by her. I hope this helps you to be objective if you choose to bring your pet to this clinic and are given a very dire prognosis regarding your pets condition. Love and light to those out there researching where they will find medical guidance for their beloved pet.

Year 3 This is to confirm the experience of two years’ of visits to Citrus. We continue to be impressed with the professionalism and care of everyone at Citrus. Pfeffer, our miniature poodle loves to visit the Vet. Vala, our Italian Greyhound is less enthusiastic but is warming up to the idea of regular checkups due to the patience of the staff. We heartily recommend Citrus and will continue to rely on them to care for our energetic healthy dogs. Year 2 This is a follow up to my first post from January 2012 (below) when we first went to Citrus. A year later we adopted our second dog, a rescue from Inland Valley Humane. An Italian Greyhound we named Vala, she was seriously malnourished and showed signs of physical abuse. After a year of routine visits for dog one, we did not even consider another vet for dog two. We now have two happy healthy rescue dogs who have both benefited from the care, concern and professionalism of the staff at Citrus. Year 1 We are first-time dog owners, and got our first dog (which has some health issues) from a shelter. Being less than impressed with the first vet we took her to, we tried Citrus and are glad we did. Their staff is great. The front office and vet staff are all attentive and professional, and warmly tolerant of our newbie questions and concerns. The office is new, bright, clean and well designed with multiple exam/treatment rooms. Their pricing for services is fair and reasonable. We have declared Citrus our official Vet and do recommend them to anyone with a pet.

Citrus Rocks! My dog had an x-ray from a slight coughing during last visit. Dr. Cheng decided to send him to a specialist immediately after diagnosis. Turned out he has cancer in early stage. The specialist was glad he got the case timely for treatments. I was very grateful. After the revisit the staffs followed up to check on his condition and answered many questions I had. They were very helpful during this difficult time. I really appreciate the way they treated my dog like one of their own. Cant find a clinic like that every where.

We brought our dog to Citrus for his his weight loss and vomiting. The clinic is exceptionally clean and the technicians are very knowledgeable. We have seen both Dr. Cheng and Dr. Colley and we love both vets since they really spend time with us and were able to address our concerns. Our dog started getting better day by day under their care and they also call us periodically to check on him. We are certainly pleased and would highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for a caring vet!

Excellent Care! My cat was spayed at Citrus Veterinary Clinic. She came home nice and clean with a very small incision on her belly. She did very well that night and never seemed like she had surgery done. I also like the fact that we got a call from the clinic staff to check on her. I highly recommend Citrus Veterinary Clinic for their expertise and care. My experience was much better with Citrus than when I had my other cat spayed at the local animal shelter.

Most caring vets Ive met! I have been taking my dog to Citrus Veterinary Clinic for over 2 years and I cannot say enough about how great the veterinarian and her staff are. I would without a doubt recommend Dr. Clark and Dr. Cheng to anyone who wants a caring, knowledgeable, and sincere VET for their pet. They take their time to explain every detail of the exam and always answer my questions. I’m lucky to have found Citrus Veterinary Clinic for my dog.

Citrus Vet has been my family pet clinic for the last 6 years and I find them to be very responsible and reliable. Dr. Cheng gave us a lot of great advice over the years. My two dogs and the little chubby cat stayed healthy and happy. We took them to Citrus Vet for medical checkup every year and we are so grateful that they are always in good hands. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to see Dr Chang for more than 10 yrs for all my dogs, she is extremely knowledgeable and honest unlike all the other vets I went before. The clinic is extremely clean and the staffs are all friendly and caring. You get what you pay for and most important of all my pets wellbeing is the priority.

Excellent care and doctors are really friendly. Another thing is that receptionist has the softest voice I ever heard and melts me every time.
