I would like to say how impressed my family and I were with, All Pets Medical & Surgical Center in Phillips Ranch,Ca. We have had many pets through the years and in the course of time, been to quite a few veterinary offices. This was our first time visiting their office. The minute we walked in the office staff made us feel so welcome. Our dog, Jakes was very sick and we were very nervous and concerned for him. The staff was so courteous and had us seen right away by Dr. Mintzer. We were obviously very upset about our dog and he made us feel very comfortable about sharing our concerns. We could go two different ways with our decision for Jake if you know what i mean. I have to say what impressed us most, was not just how knowledgeable, Dr. Mintzer was with Jakes health issues, but his kindness and respect to our feelings and letting us make our decision on how we would handle Jakes future. He truly cared and could see how much we were hurting. He gave us some time alone to to make a very difficult decision...Im happy to say that we chose to keep Jakes with us for now and through some remarkable treatment he is doing very well. We are so grateful to Dr. Mintzer for his compassion and for helping us to be able to have some more precious time with our beautiful doggy. Thank you all so much!!!!! Nancy Ski and Family

A number of years ago, my granddaughter moved in with a one year old Shih Tzu named Scarlet OHara. The granddaughter moved out, but couldnt find an apartment that would let her take pets. Scarlet has been with my wife and I now for around 8 years. Dr. Mintzer has been our "go-to" vet for most of her life. Tiffany and Angelica are awesome, as are all of the techs, and I cant say enough about not only the quality of care, but the actual concern to make certain that Scarlet has the best care possible. I am also please with the way paperwork is facilitated with VPI - they keep extra forms in the file, and take care of submitting claims directly to my insurance company. I appreciate that they have an arrangement with the emergency pet hospital down the road so if something happens after hours, I know exactly where to go for quality care. I read some of the reviews, and I have never experienced any unnecessary treatment or billing issues - Scarlet is like a child to my wife and I. I want only the best for Scarlet, and I have it with Dr. Mintzer and his team.

They were magical. I just lost my special angel dog Pandora. She was like the second mom in our home. Weve had her since she was 8 wks old and my daughter was 5 My daughter is now 20. Felix the young man who works there and is also a college mate of my daughter told us to bring her in the morning after she passed. The young lady @the front desk I believe Tiffany was her name was heavenly. We were there for cremation. She made sure any discount would apply. She consoled my daughter and I, who 2 wks later are still crying. When we picked up Pandora her ashes came with a ceramic paw print a wooden heart with her name on it and two prayers and a package beautiful blue flowers. The idea is you bury the cremation box and plant the flowers over her. They were not money hungry, they consoles us. I really needed that and I will forever be grateful to Felix & Tiffany 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. All of our animals now have a new vet home Nicole Hendrix

I read the three preceding reviews and thought Id chip in my opinion. Ive been going to Pet Medical Center for about 12 years now. I trust Dr. Mintzer and value his experience. Its true, every time I bring one of my two dogs in, even if its just for a vaccination booster, they want to do an exam, tell me about the products they carry, discuss their food and suggest procedures, but I actually appreciate it when Dr. Mintzer and his assistants bring this stuff up! Look at it as "pushing products" if you want, but the way I see it, theyre saying, "You could be taking better care of your pet, and heres how," or, "You wanna know why your dog has a heart murmur, then spend $600 and get some tests done." What, is Dr. Mintzer supposed to guess at whats going on inside your pet, just so you can keep the charges to a minimum? I call it giving options. I call it being thorough.

We’ve been taking our now 15 y/o American Eskimo to Dr. Beighlie since 2004 after relocating to the area. Over the years our Eskie has battled a number of physical and medical issues which have been managed effectively by Dr. Beighlie and his treatment team. Having the utmost confidence in the veterinary services provided by the professionals at All Pets, the newest addition to the family, our American Eskimo puppy, has also become a patient. Services are rendered in a thoughtful, sensitive and competent manner from the friendly faces of Angelica and Tiffany at the front desk to all the vet techs who deliver supportive ancillary services. Finally, Dr. Beighlie has demonstrated a strong commitment, dedication and level of competence in ensuring that one’s pet receives the best care and treatment possible. Pat Gehr, Ph.D.

I have been taking my "babies" to Dr. Mintzer for the past 19 years and have never been disappointed. He and his wonderful staff have seen me through the loss of 3 cats over that time. The first was my beloved 20 year old cat, Fauve. Next was my beautiful Snowshoe siamese, Freckles who I had to have put down when she wasnt able to recover from her cancer surgery. And the third was my beautiful 10 month old Ragdoll, Sophie. I think they grieved as much as I did that day! What I have learned over the years is that pets are expensive, but so is our own healthcare. This office has always given me all the information I needed to make a well informed decision and I dont feel pressured into doing anything that I choose not to do for my pets. Thanks to all of you for loving our pets!

My husband and I have been bringing our cats to "All Pets Medical..." for years. Dr. Mintzner is our veterinarian, and we have been impressed not only with his diagnostic and treatment recommendations, but also his caring nature. He is highly competent (and is a Cornell graduate) and spends as much time as we need explaining our cats medical issues. Our comments are always valued too. We also board our diabetic cat here when we go out of town, and he comes home with a shiny coat and a "settled" look. The two cats that roam the office are just precious, and the staff is attentive and warm. Highly recommended.

This was my 5th and last visit. Every experience left me frustrated –due to their poor service and lack of attention for my companion. Not to mention the terrible wait time even after making an appointment. In my opinion, this facility will only administer aid for patients who are willing to spend extra money and don’t have the common sense to say NO THANKS for unnecessary treatments. Simply put… If you plan to go, visit your ATM first then be ready to say OKAY to every treatment that is offered. Otherwise, you will be left on the “side-line” thinking if anyone even notices you waiting.
