I had knee and shoulder injury and was told by my Orthopedic Specialist that I had to have knee surgery. So, Dr. Etessam was highly recommended to me. My first visit was pleasant. After his evaluation, I could sense that he has a great passion for his profession and loves working with his patients. He focuses not only on the symptom but also the full body health. He put me on a weight-lost program and weekly physical therapy. After going to my first session of therapy, I trusted him more. He demonstrates and explains to his patients the purpose of the exercises to ensure safety and efficiency. He is a genius in his field, loves to work with people, intelligent, resourceful, knowledgeable, a miracle worker, and very friendly. His facility is clean, modern, spacious, with the latest equipment. The staff is very friendly and professional. There is also abundant parking. I am very satisfied with the level of care I received and the outcome of the therapy. I have lost 35 pounds with his help and regular monitoring of my progress, providing me with the latest information about health and wellnes. I wish I had met Dr. Etessam years ago. All my doctors are amazed with the outcome of my physical therapy and weight lost. My primary doctor told me to stop taking my blood pressure medication. My shoulder pain is completely gone, and I do not need surgery on my knees at this time. I have already recommended several of my friends and family to Dr. Etessam, and all are happy with his treatment. HE IS AN ABSOLUTE LIFE CHANGER. I am very appreciative of him and his great staff. My father has been a patient for over a year to strengthen his body due to MS with Dr. Etessam. While my father has recieved a plethora of treatments ranging from physical therapy, acupuncture, specialized massage, and swimming exercises, the most beneficial has been at New Light Physical Therapy. This practice is unlike others because of their genuine vested interest in the overall well being their patients from front office to back office. During my fathers evaluation, Dr. Etessam took the time to explain everything in detail without being asked, leaving a great first impression. Another welcomed surprise was that Dr. Etessam works with his patients one-on-one from the beginning to the end of the session. Throughout this time, Dr. Etessams impeccable bedside manner and his transparent intensions in providing excellent care are unwavered. Moreover, scheduling is a breeze and very accommodating. My father has improved in muscle strength and has gone from 186 lbs to 139 lbs (47lbs loss). Besides his physical therapy sessions, Dr. Etessam has given my father in-home exercises that he went over with my mother to assist him in. In addition, Dr. Etessam recommended several changes in diet that has had a positive effect as well as books to be more knowledgeable in the subject. It makes me so happy that my father looks forward in going to his appointments and have noticed a boost in his quality of life as a result of his progress and friendly interactions! Overall, I would highly recommend New Light Physical Therapy and Wellness Center.

New Light Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is an oasis where I have a complete experience rehabbing my replacement knee after surgery and finally beginning arm and shoulder therapy for a work injury. By complete, I mean that I receive quality, care, encouragement and guidance while I recuperate. My complete also includes visiting a harmonious office, greeted first by Seema with her genuine smile and sincerity. Ali is tops when it comes to pinpointing how to proceed in treatment. Scheduling problems? No problem, with a smile, they make accommodations for patients schedules. No criticism is ever spoken; only constructive guidance to aid in getting well. Ali and his staff take interest in your whole self, including diet and exercise, but dont limit to such a narrow scope. Each has a genuine interest in your well being, including emotional and spiritual. I have experienced several severe losses and financial downturns during the months I have visited. Their approach to these is to listen, remark, and aid in bringing a smile to your face. Its easier to mend when positive and constructive help is so available. It is readily available at New Light. RUN to make an appointment and visit their offices if you wish to have an exceptional experience like never before! They WILL take care of you.

I had been struggling with a severe prolonged ankle pain & frequent sprains for the past few years. After trying many home/internet remedies, I made an appointment with Dr. Etessam. I found Dr. Etessam smart, knowledgeable, and caring. His evaluation of my ankle was right on! Dr. Etessam taught me several exercises to do at home & is working on making my ankle stronger to avoid future sprains. My ankle pain is gone and I am looking forward to my “refurbished” ankle :) The office staff is extremely friendly and professional & the office is very clean with state-of-the-art equipment. I am grateful for my experience at NEW LIGHT PHYSICAL THERAPY and would refer Dr. Etessam without hesitation to anyone who is tired of dealing with chronic pain.

Everyone in the office is very friendly, from the front office to the nurse to the Dr.!! I assumed that my back pain was just a part of getting older but thats not the case. After a few questions and an exam, Dr. Etessam knew right away what the problem was and in 6 short visits my pain is gone. I am not only grateful and thankful that my pain is gone, but that this is the physical therapy office I chose to go to. I hope I wont need to make a return visit, but if for any reason I need physical therapy again, I will definitely come back to see Dr. Etessam.

The best part was the professionalism and personal ease with which Dr.Etessam treated me. i have had a really great experience with dr Ali. i had been in some persian clinics but i really didnt like the way the doctors were or the i just wasnt comfortable with them and they were so moody. but dr. Ali is an amazing, funny and cool and most importantly a professional doctor. im really happy that hes my physical therapist. i look forward to visit him again.. and i highly recommended him to my family .
