Twenty-four hours before a planned Yosemite camping trip, my floss caught the edge of an old filling and tore it loose. So we all know how Murphy operates....no doubt this was going to cause me drama while camping and last time I checked, not much in the way of dental infrastructure in Yosemite Valley. I stopped by Dr. Briscoes office at 7:30 on a Friday morning with the assumption that I would have to endure either a temporary fix, or come back later that day depending on how the dental office schedule panned out. Despite the lack of notice, Dr. Briscoe dropped everything, suited-up, got me in the chair within 10 minutes, worked his dental magic, and had me fixed-up and rolling to work by 8:30. Super appreciative of Dr. Briscoe and his associates seeing and sorting me out with essentially no notice. Nice to know there are still dedicated medical folks out there like Dr. Briscoe.

It isnt easy to review a dentist in a meaningful way. Mouths are intensely personal, private, and painful. Nowhere else is ones personal hygiene - or lack thereof - exposed so completely. In addition, the treatment of dental work by insurance companies (which is comparable to that of elective/cosmetic surgeries) compounds the matter by fostering resentment when any dental work is recommended. The lack of trust many people have for dentists is comparable to the (lack of) trust many people have for auto mechanics. If youve been interacting with dentists much like the way you interact with auto mechanics, then this review is for you. I trust Dr. Briscoe and his staff. Thats not something I can say about any previous dentist and I think thats all it really boils down to.

I was in a bind when I called Dr. Briscoe I recently left my last dentist, due to undisclosed reasons. I chipped a tooth while eating at a Sharkys in downtown SD, and I needed a quick fix. I called around a few places, and read a few reviews, and decided to go with Dr. Briscoe His staff were quick and nice, and he did a great job. I ended up getting a veneer, and Im very pleased with it. It ended up looking better then my original tooth. I am now scheduled to see him for my bi -annual cleaning. I would recommend him to my grandmother.

Dr. Briscoe and his team are wonderful! I needed a veneer on one of my front teeth, which is very difficult to match the coloring/sizing of the other existing front teeth. After many visits to other dentists, I knew the first visit to Dr. Briscoe that he was very knowledgable and confident he could achieve the look I wanted. They did such a great job. I would highly recommend Dr. Briscoe to anyone!

My experience here was awesome. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by two very kind ladies. As this was my first time here i was given a tour and met most if not all the staff. The office was nice and spacious, and the staff was super friendly. Dr. Briscoe was very friendly, as soon as he walked into the room i was greeted with a smile. He is a great dentist and i will be recommend him to everyone.

They were so friendly and professional! I truly look forward to seeing them again..not to mention how amazing the office smelled...like roses. And the first thing the staff asked me was, if I wanted coffee or tea. How kind! And dr Brisco was very thorough while examining my teeth, I actually understood what he was doing.

The best experience Ive ever had with a dentist. Dr Briscoe completed veneers and Ive received compliments from everyone I meet including my current dentist who proclaimed they were the best veneers he had ever seen. Always recommend friends to go to Dr Briscoe if they need cosmetic work done.

I was taken aback by how such a prestigous dentist was so greedy. Was charged full exam rate for a 30 second agreement with the hygentist. Had been in and would have continued to go back if I didnt feel so taken advantage of.
