I wrote a review of 5 stars 8 months ago for Dr. Eizadi but my recent experience changes it all. I liked her at first because she was a nice lady, told me what I needed to get done and even came in on a couple Saturdays to accommodate my necessary appointments (if you look up her hours of operation youll see how it doesnt work well with anyone who works for a living Monday-Friday 8 hour days). I moved to the area about 2 years ago and was looking for a new dentist so I found her on groupon for a cleaning and decided to check her out. She had good reviews and the cleaning went well so I decided to use her for the three crowns I needed. So, first of all there were several occasions that I canceled work or left work early for the appointment with her and all she did was look in my mouth and tell me she had to make a phone call to my insurance to get the go ahead to do something or reschedule because she needed more time. This is unfair to me because I was under the impression she had an actual plan for what she needed to get done with my teeth and reserved the time we schedule to get it done. Apparently that was not the case. Also, since my crowns, all placed since last May, 2 of the 3 have broken. Initially, she told me I should go with the lava crowns instead of porcelain because she said they were much stronger and lasted longer. So, I believed what I thought was her professional opinion and got the lava crowns. The Lava crowns were not covered under my plan and the porcelain were so there goes thousands of dollars down the drain because they are broken now. I went back to her twice asking her to fix them. The first time she had me come in so she could examine the break. She then told me to fix the crowns were not covered under my plan so I told her Id have to wait to save up the money to get it fixed. She also told me it was due to grinding my teeth at night and that I should have bought a mouth guard for sleeping. She did not tell me I needed this the first time I saw her or any of the other appointments. She told me that there is evidence I have been grinding my teeth for a long time- well why didnt you say so at my first appointment then?! She quoted $500 for a mouth guard so needless to say I still needed more time to save up money for that too now. After the second one broke I went in to see her again and told her I thought something must be wrong with the crowns themselves because for two of the three to break when she told me they would last me longer than porcelain didnt seem right. She told me she already made that call to the lab after the first one broke because she thought it was odd that it would break so soon. Then she told me I needed to stop eating Doritos and Mexican food. WTF. This angered me because I did not eat anything she told me I could not since I got the crowns (chewy candy, caramel, chips..) and apparently she remembered me telling her I like to eat Doritos. There is no truth in that. When the crowns broke one time I was flossing and the other time I was eating soup, so again, theres no truth in that. In this same appointment I told her I spoke with other dentists who told me they would stand behind their work and fix the crown for free because it didnt last even a year (or even 6 months for that matter). She then got all defensive and gave me some lecture about professionals throwing other professionals under the bus. Then she told me she was not sure what was covered under my insurance plan (even though I remember her telling me she knew fixing them was not covered) so I asked her to find out if fixing the broken crowns was covered and to e mail me when she found out. She then vented to me about how much time it takes to get insurance providers on the phone and to get information from them... Again WTF?! This was over a month ago that I saw her for the second time about my broken crowns. I have heard nothing from her. She will no longer get my business.

Dr Rokhsar Eizadi restored my faith in dentistry. She has a one-on-one approach that makes you feel genuinely cared for. She completes all of the procedures herself so that you receive the best care possible. She also goes out of her way to save your natural teeth. I went to another dentist initially that wanted to pull several of my teeth and Dr Eizadi found a way to save both. I have finally found a dentist I can take my family to and I trust. I highly recommend her and I look forward to going back to her in the future.

Dr. Eizadi is an fabulous dentist. She takes the time to explain every procedure she was doing and listens to the patient and takes care of him/her with great attention. Also her office is so nice with ocean view. I have never been that much calm on dentistry chair until I went to Del Mar Dentistry. Thank you Dr. Eizadi for the great experience and quality work you have done on my teeth. Highly recommended!

I would strongly recommend avoiding this dentist. It usually takes a good 30 to 45 minutes to have a cleaning done, this dentist finished in 10 minutes and I felt like she wasn;t thorough at all
