This was probably the second worst (possibly even the absolute worst) dental office I have ever been to. The entire appointment took 5 hours, many of them spent sitting in the "lobby". The entire "hate" aspect started around the point where they took my X-rays; the guy taking the xrays didnt speak English well...I told him I had a front tooth injury which prevented me from biting down hard. In spite of me telling him, he was NOT at all gentle when putting the x-ray slides in my mouth, and he got mad at me in a condescending way, asking "you cant bite down?" It wasnt until he saw my x-ray did he realize that maybe I actually knew what was wrong with my mouth and wasnt making stuff up when I said I had a tooth injury. Then came the cleaning: I saw 2 dentists, and they DIDNT even use fluoride (or offer it for that matter, I would have been more than willing to pay). Then came the part where they tried to get me to get my implant done there. I was skeptical when they put the cost estimate at about half the price of where Im currently planning on getting it done. They only wanted to implant one tooth rather than two, and then they tried to get me to commit on a date. NO way Im ever trusting this dental office with doing implant work on my mouth. On the plus side however, some of the hygienists and receptionists were nice, but that in no way counteracts the overall negative experience. Between the workers that dont speak english, pushy sales, the waiting, and the feeling that I was not really a patient(It was a really disconnected between doctor and patient), I would NOT recommend this dental office. As a business model, its probably great. As a dental office, not so much. I wouldnt really feel comfortable going there again.

Having recently needing a cleaning and exam and being new in town, a friend recommended LaJolla Dental and Dr Strother. The atmosphere was inviting and the hygienist performed expertly and my teeth have never been whiter. I also opted for a teeth alignment service. I felt comfortable being there and their care for me was evident. I will continue to use their services. Highly recommended!!
