I broke one of my molars about two and a half hours ago. Panic stricken and mortified at the thought of an infection, I started calling local dentist offices. Nobody was answering. Understandable for a Saturday night. I figured Id have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. This meant risking infection on the exposed root and subsisting entirely on fluids. Finally, I stumbled upon 24-7 Emergency Dentistry and gave them a call. Doctor Reza himself answered and we arranged an appointment. I told him I didnt have a car, but Id be there in an hour and a half. (Was going to take three busses and the trolley to make it to the office. Wasnt sure how to get back.) Ten minutes after our conversation ended, he called me back and asked if it would be easier to get to Mira Mesa. "It certainly would be." "Okay, I can be there in half an hour." I was flabbergasted. He dropped what he was doing at 6:00 on a Saturday night to drive down to the Mira Mesa office just so that it would be easier for me to get help. I was in and out in twenty minutes. He even thanked me for calling him in, mentioning something about an equipment sanitizer not being turned on. I think he was just assuaging my guilt for having troubled him, but thats neither here nor there. Maybe its just the post-trauma relief, but Im absolutely enamored with this place now. This sort of compassion is highly uncommon and is exceptionally praiseworthy. Thank you, Doctor Reza, for your patience, for your responsiveness, and for your willingness to help. Youve earned a die-hard follower, and Ill be sure to bake you cookies for Monday.

My experience, from the start, with this dentist and office staff is that they are late and poorly organized. I waited outside the office for 15 minutes at a previous visit. Worried I was at the wrong location, I called their office and the Dentist showed up 5 minutes later. Making my subsequent visits, I was very specific of which location I needed. Today, I showed up for my appointment and had a familiar experience... locked door and lights out. The office staff stated I went to the wrong office. Although, their hours on the door indicate they should be there. Overall, the Dentist provides standard service... nothing to wait outside for, or put up with their poor office management. If your insurance covers him, go up the street to Dr. Dean Nguyen DDS! He does amazing work and takes time to provide great patient education and follow ups. Wish my insurance never changed. *** Please see the response I was given below. I actually spoke to someone the day before my appointment. Foul language was used because this is b.s. that I took time off work for this attitude demonstrated in the comment below.

I was at a party & my crown fell out at 7:00 on a Saturday night. I tried temporary dental glue but it wouldnt go in properly. I found Dr. Kasiris emergency dental services online and called. He promptly met me at his office, and was jovial and kind, which I didnt expect for bothering someone with my tooth problem on a Saturday night. He explained and showed me where my crown was fractured and not properly made, then further explained the right way to make the crown to last longer. He glued it back in and my crown was back in my mouth in 15 minutes. Besides getting my tooth fixed, I gained information that I can bring to my regular dentist as to why a 2-yr. old crown he made is fractured. I would use Dr. Kasiri again and highly recommend him to others for emergencies and routine dental work. His office visit was $80, which is about what a visit was costing me with my regular dentist during normal business hours. Dr. Kasiri is very knowledgeable and full of integrity. What more can you ask for?

I had to go to Dr. Kasiri on a Saturday because I broke a front tooth on a Friday night. He was the only one available for an emergency. Initially, I was grateful to find a dentist under such circumstance (and a 3-day weekend at that). However, he was extremely rude and did a terrible job. During the procedure to prepare my tooth for a temporary crown, I felt pain. He actually got mad at me and said I couldnt possibly be feeling pain. And the temporary crown is too short and is also at an angle. So I found another dentist to do a permanent crown. When I called Dr. Kasiri first thing after the 3-day weekend to tell him not to have his lab process the permanent crown, he told me I had to use his services, and he started yelling at me. I didnt even initially tell him he did a bad job, and also I did pay him for the office visit and the emergency service. I will never go to this guy again.

Dr.Kasiri appeared nice initially. However when I made a short noise due to the pain, he became angry and stopped working on my tooth in the middle of procedure. I asked why he is not continuing with the procedure, he said "because you yell." I had to explain to him that I was in pain and asked him to please finish the procedure. This was the first time I had a dentist stop working in the middle of a procedure. I will never go back to the dentist again.

My daughter and I have been patients of Dr. Kasiri for 9 years. We have always had positive experiences. Dr. Kasiri and his staff are great, caring people. For the past 4 years we drive down from northern California twice a year for dental visits. What an awesome dentist!

Excellent dentist! He makes recommendations based on what he feels is necessary for his patients in the long run. He doesnt ever selfishly recommend anything that will just make him more money. I trust him with our kids and I highly recommend Dr Kasiri!

This is the BEST dentist EVER...His facility is ultra clean, hes kind, professional, timely and always accommodating. Even has Saturday appointments. The staff is super nice. Everything is state of the art...LOVE HIM and his staff...
