Would give 0 if I could. Rude staff, long waits. Ive had better experiences at Lenscrafters (it takes alot to say that). I waited about a half hour and saw the doctor for maybe 5 minutes. I did a "comprehensive" eye exam as I hadnt been to the eye doctor in over a year. They did all the necessary tests and updated my prescription slightly. I brought in outside glasses and requested lenses. They didnt want to use my outside glasses and pushed me to buying a pair of their frames. I refused and used my own frames. When they were finally finished, they did not fit them. Instead had me try them on and told me that "theyre fine." A good optometrist office will fit your frames. Not a huge deal, but I had to fit them myself. The lens I got were substandard. They up sold me on poly carbonate, promising scratch resistance. I got a UV coating too. Within a month, there were multiple scratches and the coating had worn away. I think I paid over $100 for the lens. Ive bought glasses online for $30 (frames and lens) that lasted longer and had better clarity. When I wanted to get my prescription emailed to myself (so that I could get a cheap pair of replacement lens elsewhere), they refused, stating it was "office policy." I finally got them to agree to mail it to me. I also asked for my contact lens prescription. The doctor had gone over with my contact prescription during our short time together. I gave him the current prescription and contact variety I was wearing and he said there would be no need to change. When I called to have it in writing they stated I would need to come in for a "fitting" which would cost just under $100. All tests and measurements had been taken during the initial exam which I was promised was "comprehensive." They just wanted an extra $100 for me. The FTC has been cracking down on optometrist shops doing so. I filed a complaint and am awaiting a response. Long story short, avoid at all costs. Id recommend Sea View Optometric center. Staff was a thousand times friendlier and I was never up sold.

Great prices, great options for any budget, and always great service. Ive taken in outside frames and they were happy to put new lenses in them without any push back. I also have two pairs of their own frames (Geek brand) and I love them. Of course they up sell scratch/glare resistant but it is an upgrade that is worth it and totally makes a difference, especially if you wear them at night or in front of a computer screen a lot.

I have been going here for 18 years, my husband for 13, and we have never had the problems one other reviewer experienced. Ive had them put lenses in outside frames, have been impressed when Dr. De Carlo tells me that the change in my eyes really isnt enough to warrant new glasses that year, and have always been treated well by the staff.
