This Dr. seemed cold and upset. I was a new patient, she did not shake my hand, say it was nice to meet me, or anything. She seemed like she was upset about something, maybe it was because I am in a same sex marriage and she was not happy about that, as my wife was with me. When I asked her if she was upset about something, she was combative and said that there was no reason to go forward if this was how I was going to treat her. I was really sick, ended up at the ER. I needed help, I was in pain, I started crying and asked her to please help me, she kept berating me about how I was treating her. She said she needs to think and process my symptoms and that she always speaks the truth, and that she did not need new patients. She sent me away to the hospital. She wanted to know why I had not gone to the hospital in the first place. Im not a doctor, and I did not know that I needed to go to the hospital. Needless to say, I need a Dr. that is friendly and compassionate. This doctor is neither of these things. My Doctor search continues. Just for the record, all I did was ask her if she was upset about something or if she was mad. I did not try and disrespect her or upset her, but I did not feel like she wanted me in her office.

I went to see her for an overall health check and she was very rude and dismissive of questions I had about my health. Then she asked me why I hadnt shaved my legs. I told her I just didnt feel like it. And she kept asking why and how often and when was the last time I shaved my legs. I went in for a physical, thats it. And she was so focused on why. Then I called months later to see if I could make another appointment with her as a last resort since I could see anyone else asap, and they told me that since I had seen a different doctor since I had seen her the first time, I could no longer see her. I told them I wanted to see the other one because I could get seen sooner and I was hurting. But the woman just kept saying the same thing; you decided to see a different doctor so you can no longer make appointments here. Out of all the doctors Ive had experience with in the bay area, Sacramento area, Colorado, and now here in merced, she is the worst doctor and that is the worst office to deal with. I would never recommend her.

She is very thorough and really cares! The receptionist are friendly and the establishment is really clean and organized.
