Moved here from California a month and been having the worst luck finding a Dr. I went in for an appointment here and my first impression and interaction was horrible. The front receptionist was very rude and abrupt to not just myself but all patients calling in and coming in. The MA was awesome, but I just didnt like the way I was made feel when I was there the office Manager was very nice. But I was treated more like they were assuming I was some kind of drug addict which I find very offensive. I am a professional myself in a retail industry and I just didnt feel very welcomed there and I wont be bringing my family there either. I called back today to schedule a follow appointment and the lady tells me right away what the balance due is and does not even check to see if insurance billing had gone through. Being more personable with people and maybe checking to see if they are feeling better and at least act like you care about the patients in your care would be nice.

Worst medical experience of my life! No bed side manner.. no compassion for a grieving parent, and he constantly interrupts without listening. I have never seen a doctor so judgmental in my life. My visit with this doctor turned a day already difficult day into an afternoon of endless tears and heartache. Shame on this doctor... you are correct Dr. Swanson death does happen but a grieving parent does not need you to say"it happens" when they tell you their child has passed away. A simple "Im sorry" is much more appropriate. I pray this helps this doctor to treat the next person with more compassion.

Dr. Swanson has been my primary care physician for approx. 10 years. During this time, he has successfully diagnosed, facilitated, and controlled my chronic, severe, multi faceted symptoms, ALWAYS keeping my overall well being foremost. At times, this analytical mind of mine second guessed his recommendations, always proving futile in the end. When I finally grew to respect and trust his expertise, he facilitated what has become a life changing event in my life. I consider him caring, ascertive but professional, and the best diagnostician that I have ever known in my 64 years of life.

Dr. Swansen was my Doctor for a few years and he was alright in the beginning. Just alright though. He has no compassion really and lacks good bed side manners. Doesnt listen and interrupts while I am talking, very arrogant! Lack of communication with the staff there which causes professional incompetence and inconvenience for patience. Going to go elsewhere for Family Doctor. I think its time for Dr. Swansen to retire. The staff needs some cheering up too!

I have been seeing Dr. Swanson since 2002, first as an individual, then later, since 2006, as a family. He is a great doctor and very laid back. The office staff is also very congenial and helpful. Always had a great experience, except for the reasons for the visit.

We have been patients of Dr. Swanson since his internship at the University of Nevada. He is a caring and thoughtful physician and cares about his patients. We highly recommend him to other families. The staff at the clinic are THE BEST!!
