I have not had any issues with the care I have received from Dr. Elia. He has gone out of his way to treat my husband and I with the best care we have received this far. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his front office. She has poor customer service, VERY rude and to be quite honest, I get the feeling she is doing us a favor by taking our call. I had never had any issues making appointments for my husband, as he has me signed on the release forms (he is horrible at making his own appointments) until recently. She signed on refill requests that I needed an appointment when I verified with Dr. Elia I didnt need one (he ended up refilling, only when I sent a picture of the denial she faxed to the pharmacy). Last straw was when I called to make an appointment, I guess I didnt follow the unspoken protocol by identifying myself as a patient, I had said "Hello, does Dr. Elia have an opening next week" when I was cut off with HOLD ON HOLD ON I DONT EVEN KNOW IF YOU ARE A PATIENT! She then continued to be beyond rude. I had to end the conversation with "Nevermind, I will explore my other options". Dr. Elia is a great doc, but until the front office changes, I would not recommend his office.

Dr. Elia is my favorite Doctor in Fresno so far. He is easy to talk to; listens to, addresses, and elaborates on my concerns and opinions, and is an all-around great care taker. All of my health issues were treated promptly and Ive never had to wait for very long to be seen. My 13 year old Son also likes Dr. Elia, and enjoys that the Dr. addresses him directly rather than asking me questions about him. Of course I have opportunities to chime in, but the Dr. prefers to treat my Son as a young man, which I appreciate. Unfortunately Dr. Elias office doesnt take my new insurance, so Im no longer seeing him, but I will go back in a heart beat if the insurance policy changes.

I do not recommend this doctor. he is not concerned with resolving health problems in a timely manner he has no sense of urgency and his nurse is just as bad she is mean and rude. for a family practice they have no kid friendly activities and when my "2" year old was curious about their planter she so rudely yelled at her. they have poor people skills save yourself the time and energy find a better doctor

Dr. Elia is the kindest doctor weve had. My children and I have been seeing him for the past 3 years and I cannot imagine ever having another doctor! His office staff is very helpful, friendly, and accommodating.

Short wait times, and the doctor really takes his time with talking to you and explaining any medical concerns. Hes the best doctor that I have seen in the valley.

Dr. Elia is a great doctor. His staff however isnt so great. No follow up, you have to call them. So hes, again, an awesome doctor. Staff not so much.
