When i walked in, Everyone is nice and the doctor as well, the place is clean and everything is great in the place except, I went for a annual eye contacts exam and i know that my insurance covers for it if its in network, but i didnt receive a vision card, instead of taking the time to find the full details of my coverage they made me go the paper and advised that insurance covers for the exam but not the fitting, however i know already how to fit a contact so i though maybe that how it works, they charged me for the fitting and when i went home i checked my insurance, i found that i could have paid $0.00 with other providers, i called them back and rep told me its my responsibility to know my coverage, (but its your job to help people instead of misleading and hiding other options), for me they were in-network but im not the expert on how you break down the service, ill never go back, if you dont care about money then go there.

I have been a patient of Dr. DeForrest and her staff for over 8 years. I have always been warmly received and provided with excellent service.The atmosphere of the office is always filled with humor and makes you feel relaxed prior to your examination. Dr. DeForrest is very thorough and utilizes some of the latest optical equipment for accurate examination of your eyes. You know exactly what is going at the moment with your eyes. I would highly recommend this eye center.

I was in Orlando on vacation and lost a contact. I usually have spares, but didnt pack any this time. The DeForrest team was recommended by my optometrist in NC. Bri was great on the phone and the staff got me seeing again the next morning. The small things like this are what make a practice great.I cant thank them enough!

To say that I was pleased would be an understatement. I was delighted with my first visit. All were extremely pleasant to deal with, the practice uses advanced equipment, and Dr. DeForrest could not have been more patient and thorough in her exam, and in discussing my situation. Thank you!

staff at this eye center are not very kind. this used to be a good place to get eye exams and glasses/contacts, but something has changed. customer service is key so I would advise to choose another location where the doctor and staff actually care about receiving and keeping your business.

Wouldnt recommend. Optometrist would only write a prescription for some of the most expensive contact materials. Try Dr. John Nowells office in the same area.
