This was the WORST eye doctor experience Ive ever had! Never do these reviews but I feel like I need to let everyone know why they shouldnt come here and waste their money. So, Ive had glasses since I was 8, contacts since I was 13. Ive been to two eye doctors previously, same tests, same procedures, same results. I come here and ugh...the one test they did, the girl never told me to take my contacts off. Thought it was weird but went with it. Then she tried to dilate my eyes while Im still wearing my contacts!!! I tell her and she goes , "oh yeah..right...hold on" then leaves. Comes back, dilates my eyes and I wait. Then another lady comes in "we have to redo that test because you had your contacts in hahaha" like its my fault. Okay. Next, the doctor comes in. HA. I do the letters, then she says to put in these contacts. I ask which is right and left? (Because my eyes are two different prescriptions). She says it doesnt matter and leaves. I am skeptical but do it anyways and OMG I couldnt see a thing. Instant headache. She comes back in, we do the letter test again (????) and she says Ive been over corrected all these years. Okay....so she writes me a new prescription and quickly shoves me out the door. So I leave confused...then I call and ask if I can come in again another day because something isnt right. Come back in, they retest me and she says the same thing. She tests me in my old contacts and new ones with the new prescription she was trying to give me. Couldnt read one of the letter lines and she skipped past it and ignored it. After that I started asking my previous questions . I ask her what the contacts were for when I did the letter test the first time . She answers then tries to walk out the door. "Um wait I have another question??" Shes standing in the door frame halfway out the door now. I ask her another questions she answers. Okay. Now shes left and Im still talking? Follow her, ask her, "okay Ill try these new contacts (she gave me a pair) but if they dont end up working for me, can I just come back and you write up my old prescription ?" "No I wont do that" "Why ?" "Because this is what Im saying works, these work for you, you dont need the other one" "Okay but I couldnt see that one line of letters that you clicked away? Ill see if they work out in the world but if they dont why cant I just have my old prescription?" "No I wont do that youll have to go somewhere else and pay again" "Okay that doesnt sound right" "Go somewhere else" "Can I have my money back? Jeez! " Then I demanded she write my old prescription and I left. Still wore the new contacts on the drive home and couldnt read any signs . Long story shorts: shes a RUDE FRAUD who doesnt know how to be a doctor?! If something doesnt work for me, you help fix it!!! You dont tell me you wont do anything else about it. If you were a doctor prescribing someone antibiotics for an infection, if it didnt work you try something else, not tell them thats all Im giving you! Just dont go here

I have had not but bad experiences with Dr Chouhry. First, they make you wait forever whenever you go. I have been in 4x times now and each time I leave feeling frustrated. The first time she wouldnt give me a glasses or contacts Rx, made me come back a 2nd time Came back a 2nd time, she gave me the glasses Rx but still wouldnt give me a contacts Rx. Came back a 3rd time for a contacts Rx, I had by now gotten glasses with the updated Rx but felt it was incorrect. My concerns about the Rx were dismissed. They asked if the glasses were ordered from them, when I said they were not they said they couldnt help then. They wouldnt check the glasses to see if they were the right Rx, they wouldnt test my vision with the glasses to see if it was right. She gave me the new contacts Rx, but switched me from dailies to 2 week contacts without telling me or asking if I wanted to switch. I didnt realize she changed this, so after the first two days on wearing the new contacts I threw them out. That was a months worth of contacts gone in two days due to the lack of information! After this visit I sent the glasses back to the place that made them so they could re-do the glasses. Received another pair, still felt the Rx was not correct for me, and I could tell this was the same Rx as before. I went back a 4th visit again to have the glasses Rx checked and to request daily contacts. This time they did check the glasses but said they were fine and if I cant see right in these then they cant help me. They never tested different lenses to see which I felt I could see best out of. She also said the type of contacts I need arent available in dailies! I knew this wasnt true since Id had them before and told her such, so she asked for what I had before and told her (same exact brand as the ones shed given me before, just daily). She did give me a new contacts Rx but not until after shed gone to see another patient making me wait another 20 mins after the appointment ended. This 4th visit I was in the office for 2 hours. I spent less than 5 minutes with the doctor and a few minutes with another staff member. This whole experience is ridiculous and makes me wonder why it was so bad when she has so many other great reviews. All I know is I wont be going back here again. The only reason I give 2 stars not 1 is because her staff is friendly.

I am leaving this office shaking with anger at how disrespected I feel. Dr Choudri paid no mind to what lack of symptoms I have for a diagnosis she made by looking at my eye for less than 20 seconds and did not care to ask why I was being seen today. Every time I tried to explain that I do not have symptoms and my eye drop medications were not working she would interrupt me and I felt extremely rushed. I came in for epicleritis that was diagnosed by a previous eye doctor and she did not care to mention why I have a bundle of irritated nerves that can clearly be seen. She went straight for "giant papillary conjunctivitis" which is actually UNDER my eyelid and when I checked my own eyelid guess what... nothing there! On top of that, when she went to check my eyes she put an unknown drop in both my eyes (I say unknown because she did not bother to tell me what it was and that I was going to experience EXTREME BURNING PAIN). I was left blind for a few minutes unable to comprehend that she actually did this to me. As a first time patient I am baffled and appalled at the lack of integrity, attitude, and time Dr Choudri displayed. And to top it all off she figured we were done when she thought we were done, left the room and when I tried to see where she went she was at the window, gave me no instruction, and looked back to me with a demeaning eye and told me to go outside to the front. I will be making sure I never come back. Updated edit as of same day: Went to another eye doctor and told me he did not see any sign of a capillary conjunctivitis. Had I taken this womans mistreated diagnosis I would have had issues with my eye in the long term. Unbelievable!
