I had a great pain management doctor but because of my Insurance company I had to change. So I saw Dr. Barkow was recommended so I tried to make an appointment only to be told after he reviewed my file that he would Not see me because he did not like the medication I was taking, that has to be a first. I thought doctors were to help people, I was looking for a doctor who was on the "cutting edge" with new ideas to control my pain of cut nerves and spinal fusion that hurts to the bone. I guess he only takes on the easy ones so he shows a high success rate. I will find the doctor I am looking for who takes care of all types severe pain patiences.

Provided a minimally evasive procedure that is highly effective. Avoided maximum invasive surgery recommended by four top surgeons. What else is there to say. He never suggested pain pills as treatment. The other persons suggestion to the contrary is absurd. To me, Barkow is a life saver. Without him, and Dr. Ozgur the only surgeon who even suggested the possibility of the RFA procedure, I would be carved up like a thanksgiving turkey. For no reason and likely with no solution to pain generator.

Dr. Barkow, the staff and Sasha RULE !! I want Dr B to become my primary MD. But not sure he does that .. We handle all my pains with Botox for migraines .. Works VERY Well , Highly recommended !! Cutting Edge in the pain and discomfort field.. Dr Barkow alerted me on another issue none of my several Dr.s spotted. Ive just got out of surgery for the red-flag ailment Dr B pointed out.. His staff members are understanding and compassionate - and they have been very upfront about Dr. Barkows practices regarding pain management. I am beyond impressed with how far they are going for someone who isnt even yet a patient. His staff is truly top-notch and I look forward to Dr. Barkow overseeing my treatment.

Ive been going to Dr. Barkow about 4 years. Before seeing him and being treated with epidurals, I had so much pain I could not function. These last 4 years, he has been able to get all my pain under control without pain pills. I have had several successful epidurals which has enabled me to resume living my life.
