Worst doctor Ive ever came across in my life. matthew harris is Rude, Arrogant and very condescending. I experienced the worst pain of my life at the hands of Dr. Matthew Harris. When I asked him to review my latest MRI, he simply read one sentence from the report and told me to get on the operating table since he didnt have time to talk to me. Apparently he couldnt be bothered to explain anything and he was in a hurry. I should have known not to continue with this unprofessional doctor right then. Dr. Matthew Harris also rudely badmouthed the all other doctors Ive seen in the past. Doctors are supposed to respect and obey the critical medical rule: First, do no harm. Dr. Matthew harris missed this important message. He looks at patients and see an opportunity to make money by giving speedy 3 minute Epidural steroids injection to every patient"victim". I was a victim of Dr matthew Harriss greed and carelessness. He is not qualified to use proper anesthesia sedation so he hastily injected me with lidocaine and failed to wait for the numbing solution to work. Immediately following the lidocaine, he injected me with the steroid. Unfortunately due to Dr Harris extreme incompetence, I was injected with the painfully burning injection of epidural steroid chemical 10 minutes too soon. I felt paralyzed from the intensity of pain as the burning chemical washed down my neck and shoulders. Dr. Matthew Harris then roughly pressed down my neck to spread the chemical down and I felt as though I was going to pass out from the pain and I began to cry. Dr. Matthew Harris yelled at me to stop crying and kept repeating over and over that nothing was wrong with me. He even told me I wasnt in pain and that I simply wanted attention. This is clearly sociopathic behavior. I will not be surprised when a class action law suit appears for Dr. Matthew Harris from Pain Management Associates Laguna Hills.

Dr. Matthew Harris is the strangest, most unqualified doctor I have ever come in contact with in my 50+ years. He did not once make eye contact with me and does not have the ability to read social cues. He asked for my background, yet continually interruped me. He prejudged me, without even hearing my medical history. He wont write a script for necessary pain medications but he wants to schedule a potentially more dangerous (side effects) of epidural steroid injections immediately. When I told him I dont want anymore steroid injections, he got angry and said I was wasting his time. He was quick to tear down all of my other doctors recommendations and he seems to think only he alone has all the answers. I wouldnt recommend Dr. Matthew Harris to my worst enemy.

I suffered from Sciatic Nerve Pain, and was referred to Dr Matthew Harris in Laguna Hills. Dr Harris was very easy to communicate with, and explained clearly the procedure he would use to alleviate my pain, which included a series of 2 ESIs. He performed the ESIs (Epidural Steroid Infusion) and the procedures were completely painless, except for a slight pinch at the beginning of the procedure. The second ESI was done 4 weeks after the first. After these procedures, i attained relief from pain. I appreciated Dr Harriss personable and caring approach, and was very happy with the freedom from pain that I experienced after his treatment.

Beware of horrible Dr. matthew harris he is not a pain management specialist. He only is in business to churn out epidurals to every patient. Even those who should not have an epidural. Harris doesnt even use computed tomography to inject the corticosteroid. Harris basically eyeballs it as he did with me and injected me with the steroid in the wrong area. He spent a total of 3 mins with me on the exam table. Usually this process should take at least 20 mins. Due to this careless and incompetent "dr", Ive had worse, severe pain after the injection and had a severe allergic and gastric reaction.

Dr. Harris is professional, extremely competent, honest, and personable. He has been treating my severe neck pain moderately for over a year by offering long-lasting treatments and techniques, rather than harsh pain medications. He listens intently, he follows through, and invests a great amount of time in my individual needs. I highly recommend Dr. Harris if you want to be pain free and increase your quality of life. Thank you Dr. Harris and your wonderful staff!
