We recently brought in a German Shepard puppy who would unfortunately gave in to parvo a week later. Now fearing our other dog might have contracted the virus my girlfriend took him to get a booster and check up as I was at work and couldnt leave. The vet was extremely rude and showed no sympathy towards a sleep deprived woman and pup who had spent the last week up caring for a dying puppy. Our dog was extremely stressed out, so the veterinarian and assistant were asked to leave the room, to which they replied "Take that choker off, I dont like those." Which is a training collar, not choker. And then threw a leash at her further aggravating the dog. They never left the room to let him settle down and proceeded to say, with a highly sarcastic "im done, were not doing this!" Then proceeded to belittle and yell at my girlfriend who is in tears at this point, ranting on how shes a bad owner and the dog has severe problems stemming from bad leadership. After 10 minutes of heartless ranting she sarcastically says "Do I need to go make sure the coast is clear so you can leave?" I came home to a crying woman and a pup who could still be sick, after all that has happened the last week. We will no longer be doing business there, and if you are a compassionate owner I would recommend not doing business there as well as they have no compassion themselves. Its all about money and get out.

Never going here again. The lady in the front desk is not that friendly, she does not even say hello when you walk in the front door. The veterinarians are quite friendly but at my dogs check up, the vet did not check everything. She only checked my dog Daissys eyes , ears and temperature. We took Daissy for her check up because we were going to board her there because we were going to go on a vacation. When we came back to pick Daissy up from her boarding, she was a mess. She gained weight, threw up her food, and got un-potty trained. She also did not come very happy. Daissy was only a puppy when we brought her there. We think that all they did was lock her in a crate and feed her a bowl of dog food when she needed to be socialized, played with and be fed a smaller amount of dog food. When she came back home, we had to re-start puppy potty training. I dont recommend this place for pet boarding

My wife and I have four cats, Pumpkin, Deandra, Rosie, and Felix. We have gone to Standiford Vet for over the past 15 years. Dr. Lattig and Dr. Greer have helped us with our cats over the years. We recently lost our oldest cat "Pumpkin" to cancer. Dr. Greer was beautiful in helping us,as it was very hard seeing "Pumpkin" sick and not being able to do anything for her. When we go on vacation we leave our family with Standiford Vet and they take excellent care of them. If we have an emergency they take care of us. Their office staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend them to anyone that ask for a vet.

The attitude of the entire staff is personal, kind, and knowedgeable. I always refer my friends to this group because they are reasonable, professional, and so kind and efficient. THEY REALLY KNOW THEIR STUFF, AND YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED WITH THEIR SERVICES!

Ive been taking all my pets here for years and I am always happy with not only the service I receive but the fact that they entire staff truly cares about my pets and me! I have been to vets who are clearly in business for the money and Staniford veterinary center has NEVER disappointed me in this way! I love the dr.s and the whole staff, wouldnt trust all 5 of my furry, 4 legged family members to anyone else!

When my beautiful Scottish Terriers, Roddy and Duffy, became ill the staff at Standiford Vet tried their best to save them. Duffy almost made it but when we lost him they were kind and loving. I have a cat I inherited named Peanut. Peanut is old and cantankerous. Whenever I bring her in for her wellness check they treat her with kindness and love. Thank you for the wonderful work you do!

We have been going to Standiford Vet. since 1990 when we first moved to California from Chicago. Since then we moved to the Bay area for the last sixteen years but we still go back to Modesto to see Dr. Lattig to care for our four pets for now and he cared for our seven Angels in the past ! It is like second home when we go to visit the Standiford Vet. everybody is like family ! ! !

The Doctors and staff are always really nice. Whether they pretend to know, or actually do know our dogs and us personally makes us feel like we are a valued patient. Plus, if something is outside their scope of specialty, they will refer out which makes me believe they are in it for the care factor rather than the money factor. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic.

Such bad energy, they were rude & unprofessional...we will not be taking our dog back there, and when we told the vet that we wouldnt be coming back her response was "well that will just tickle me pink." Im really appalled that somebody who cares for animals for a living has zero compassion toward them...wouldnt recommend them to anyone.
