I used to have a trustworthy dentist whom I would seek dental care from for years, but since I moved to SD, I didn’t have the time to come back to NorCal to get my routine checkup and cleaning done. So, while I was visiting my family in NorCal, I thought I would give Dr. Ton a shot since I was long overdue for checkup/cleaning. Although Autumn Lake Dental is located in Oakley, CA, which is a bit far, it is worth the drive. Dr. Ton is awesome! He is kind, genuine, sociable, and has a great sense of humor! His practice is new, but he is very skillful and thorough when doing dental procedures. Most importantly, he is very attentive and take his patients concerns into consideration. Unlike other dentists who just get you in and out right away, Dr. Ton, actually takes the time to get to know you, and is genuinely interested in your life and well being. He is also very knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. You can ask him anything and he would be more than happy to give you a thorough explanation. His two lovely staffs (Ana and Angela) are very sweet, polite, welcoming, and knowledgeable as well. When I showed up, they immediately greeted me with big, and warm reassuring smiles. Dr. Ton and his staffs are very professional and they provide excellent customer service: they greet, engage, and thank their patients. Dr. Ton and his staffs made me feel very welcomed and they made sure I felt comfortable before doing any procedures. Dr. Ton was very gentle and skillful, making it a painless procedure. Besides, I was too busy watching “New Girl” on his flat screen that I didn’t even notice what they were doing. It was definitely distracting since it took my attention away from them. I was also very impressed with his new modern contemporary-like office. Very cozy, clean, and nicely decorated inside and out with lots of sunlight. The ambience was nice and comfortable, which made me feel like I was at home. I absolutely love the layout of his office, there are computers set up at the front waiting area for patients to use, video games (xbox and playstation 2), and a make believe kitchen for kids! Comfortable seating areas with cable TV. Free hot chocolate, coffee, and water! In each of the operation rooms, there are 2 flat screen TVs (one on the wall and ceiling) with headphones, and a comfortable reclining chair with blankets. And Netflix! Awesome, right? What more can you ask for in a dental office? Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Autumn Lake Dental. I give Dr. Ton two thumbs up and 5 stars! Definitely seek him for any future dental work!

Being a first timer at Autumn Lake Dental for a routine general cleaning, I was extremely astounded by the quality of care. When I first walked through the doors, I was wowed by the nicely furnished, modern waiting room, which had complimentary drinks, computers, game consoles and other amenities for me to use. The office was definitely designed with the patient in mind, equipped with the latest technologies and it smelled nice like a home, nothing like a doctor’s office. Each treatment room did not just have one TV, but two TV’s (one in the ceiling and on the wall) with wireless headphones. What’s more exciting is there is Netflix, so I get to watch my favorite show during my dental treatment. In fact, I was so into my show that I completely, well almost forgot that I was in a dental office. Autumn Lake Dental certainly feels like an extension of my home. This visit was the best dental visit I have ever had. The staffs (Ana and Angela) were extremely nice and talkative, they treated me as if I was a family member, and they routinely keep the office clean throughout the day. Dr. Ton is a very funny, and talkative person. During the procedure, he was gentle on my teeth’s, complimented on my hygiene, and expressed his concerns which established a positive relationship. In addition, Dr. Ton took pictures of my teeth’s before and after, pointing out to the areas where he cleaned and giving me recommendations to keep up my hygiene. I also loved the fact that all my records were paperless and can be accessed within an instant on the computer, very organized. I left the office happily, and I will surely return for another visit. My previous dentists, was nothing like Dr. Ton, they were not very talkative and only cared about my dental insurance. Dr. Ton definitely goes above and beyond patient satisfaction.

Looking for world-class service (with a warm and reassuring smile) from a knowledgeable and professional dentist that not only cares about your comfort, actively listens to your unique needs, but also takes an active interest in your life and general well being? Well... Look no further. Dr. Tons practice is new, no doubt. But what makes this new practice a step above the norm is the fact that Dr. Ton is an active listener and takes well to constructive criticism and input you give him and he is someone that will never be complacent and will continue to constantly seek ways to creatively improve services to ensure delivery of high quality care to his patients. I have a particularly demanding work schedule, and the fact that his office is open long hours (they are open until 7pm) is really accommodating for my needs. If youre looking for a comfortable dental office, accommodating and friendly staff, with an exceptional dentist for years to come, look no further. **Bonus points for the Keurig, Internet access, easy of parking, video-game station, and make believe kitchen for kids!**

Im not afraid of the dentist anymore!!! Let me start by saying I am a HUGE baby when it comes to pain so I needed to find someone who was gentle and friendly. When I moved into the area about a year ago I knew I would have to establish with someone who I could trust to meet my needs as well as the needs of my family. My 5 year old has never been a fan of the dentist and they took the time to explain things to her as well as let her watch me get my work done so she could have a better understanding. When I found out I needed a crown I was terrified. I had only had a couple cavities so this was all new to me. I went in, they numbed me with a topical, gave me nitrous, used a vibrating tool and gave me the shot. I never felt it. They put on a movie, gave me headphones and a type of sunglasses so I wouldnt be blinded by their lights. They took molds and I felt like maybe the numbness was wearing off. I received a second shot and they got to work. I felt NOTHING!!!! It was amazing. If they can make a massive baby like me a believer, they can help anyone. :)

At first I was hesitant to switch dentist but my friend had such a great experience with Dr. Ton I decided to give it a shot. I have one word to describe my experience - WOW. Ive never been engaged with a dentist that is so meticulous and as thorough as Dr. Ton. I love the fact that hes very passionate about what he does and involved in the community helping kids making important career choices. Besides his great credential from UCSF, hes also a very goofy and an entertaining guy. I can see him making kids laugh and making them feeling less anxious before any procedures. I remember when I was a kid going to the dentist, I was scared like a little girl but enough about me. The staffs are nice and friendly. They seem to always be smiling like they just won the lottery or something. The place is very modernized with nice furniture and chairs. It feels just like home and better yet it has free coffee and cable TV outside the waiting room! I definitely coming back for my next cleaning session.
