Victor Truong, DDS and his staff are GREAT! Very welcoming, personable, and friendly!! I dont have one complaint. The service is amazing the location sits in the beautiful hills of Clayton, not too far from the local golf course and a farm of Lamas..The drive to his office was serene, much like the atmosphere of the dental office. The dental office is child and adolescent friendly!!! There are computers available for use along with free wifi! There an is area with flatscreen televisions and gaming systems with some of the latest video games. There was even a small toddler kitchenette with all the works to keep the little ones occupied. There are some awesome reads on the the various table tops! I actually wrote a couple of the titles down to pick up for home recreational reading. Decor: The entire office is beautifully decorated with art work of local scenery by local artist! What a perfect touch!! The Dental Work: Dr. Truong added the perfect touch to create the perfect office environment and he did just the same with his dental work! He has perfected his craft and is GREAT at what he does (you see, sense and feel his passion for his work!) from the beginning to the end. He is thorough in his work and has the perfect touch (not to gental and not to rough). He walked me through everything he and his staff were doing, I felt so comfortable and at home that much of the anxiety that I normally feel at a dental office was nonexistent! Pricing: Wow!!! Sums it all up! I have Delta Dental and have been on the hunt for the perfect dentist who I felt wasnt trying to make it rich off of my pearly whites, for several years now! I have found what I have been seeking and plan to Stay! My out of pocket portion was significantly less than what my previous two dentist quoted me. I had a feeling that some of the quotes were a bit excessive for both my dental provider and myself. Dr. Truong uses the latest technology & equipment with the latest in materials and both my portion and my providers portion wasnt nearly as much as the past two dentist quoted me. I am simply amazed, I even got a referral to a great oral surgeon who was just as welcoming, friendly and personable. One thing I noticed is that while the radio was playing while I was in the dental chair, the artist mentioned something about sex and the hygienest changed the song/station, just out of an abundance of caution for the customer. Although I was okay with that lyrics, I appreciated the gesture, because you never know how your customer may feel about things of that nature. I AM 100% SATISFIED with the customer service, environment, dental work, staff, dentist, pricing and overall experience. Let me just say this review says a lot! I can be hard to please, due to being a germaphobe and very particular. I will definitely be going to this dentist in the future and I fully recommend The Grove Dentistry to any individual and/family interested! You will not regret bringing your business here!

After moving back to the Bay Area a few years ago, Ive experienced going to dentists that do the absolute minimum when it comes to a check up. Yes, they may have decades of experience or interesting amenities like choosing music before a visit but all-in-all, its been very "routine". From the X-Ray and the usual flossing advice without any deep explanation, to the light polish without a detailed deep cleaning. Im happy surprised to say that this all changed when I went to The Grove Family Dentistry and received expert care from Dr. Truong and Mary. From the moment I stepped into the office, I felt at ease and comfortable with the clean decor and zen ambiance. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and very professional. There are refreshments, a cozy couch, a digital bar, and even a game room for kids and adult children (like me). The X-Ray process was simple and fast with Mary taking 6 photos taken without the need for giant, intricate equipment. Dr. Truong went over my X-Rays and talked through the history my teeth. He explained his concerns thoroughly and gave detailed advice on how to proceed in getting my teeth healthier for years to come. It wasnt all bad news either, as he said some positive things about my teeth also. He even polished my teeth in a precise manner before my deep cleaning. Before the deep cleaning, Mary asked if I was okay with a little pain. I am glad she was transparent and explained that the temporary pain would help me in the long-run. I gave the okay and it turned out to be not bad at all. She went inside my gums and mentioned that these areas have not been touched by previous dentistries. My mouth looked and felt so much cleaner than Ive ever felt before. She and Dr. Truong gave some precise advice on what I should do at home to keep my teeth healthy in terms of flossing, gargling, and brushing. I will be back in a few months to get a filling and for them to check on the health of my teeth after home care. Im looking forward to my next visit to see if my change in habits pays off!

Usually visiting the dentist is a daunting experience but I have to admit my visit at The Grove Family Dentistry was quite the opposite. First of all the office is beautiful and modern with many amenities I have never seen offered before such as an internet bar, game and play room for children, and tvs for the patients to watch while procedures are being performed by Dr. Truong. I was here for a routine checkup and cleaning and amazed by all the new technology that made the patient experience seamless and convenient. The X-ray machine is portable and much smaller than I have ever seen and taken within the patient room itself. Once they were taken, Dr. Truong began the exam by showing me my X-ray results and really educating me about what cavities and plaque look like. He also had a wand like X-ray that takes videos and shows areas with plaque or cavities. It was so neat getting to see everything Dr. Truong was seeing and made me feel like I was diagnosing my teeth with him. The cleaning itself was great and at the end, I was given a warm lavender scented towel that was just a nice touch to an already unique dental visit. All in all, I have never experienced a dental visit quite like this and really applaud Dr. Truong and extremely personable staff for their attention to detail and emphasis on customer satisfaction.

The environment at Grove Family Dentistry is clean, welcoming and innovative. The technology used ensures you will have healthy teeth and a great experience. But the highlight for me was watching how the staff and Dr. Truong handled my four year old. He was kind and warm, you can tell he knows how to talk to children and make them feel safe. They had a great kids area for entertainment while she waited for us to finish up, had a toy station as a reward, and her favorite was a special puppet wth teeth to hold. The technician Ebby was able to get X-rays taken of my daughters mouth and was equally sweet and treated her well. I highly recommend this office! If I could give more stars I would. I was nervous about finding a new dentist in the area but now I couldnt be happier.

This is the first year in our life that we live in a world without dental insurance after my previous company kicked out all 65 years old retirees from their dental group plan. We were struggled to find a good dentist who cares about those without insurance. Dr. Truong and his office are just such a wonderful place we found. Dr. Truong not only performed a thorough examine and cleaning of my wifes teeth, but also kindly discussed the current issues and possible alternative solutions. He is supper knowledgeable and skillful. Best of all, his office also offers a membership and huge discount for new patients. Highly recommended!
