This is the rudest, most condescending doctor Ive ever encountered. His staff couldnt find any new patient packets to even take a medical history despite the fact that I came ready to provide answers to questions. Instead, Montelongo fired off multiple questions and expected that I could pull answers from memory without consulting my paperwork. He scolded me, stating that history is important. He was in such a rush that he apparently wasnt willing to let me look up the information (who knows dates and addresses from memory?). He stood up, and called over his shoulder to me as he entered another patients room [regarding history being important] , "Liora, you as a nurse should know that." I replied, "Youre in a rush, and youre not listening." Since history is so important, maybe he should get his staff together and make sure medical history questionnaires are available for patients to complete rather than expecting that theyll be able to pull answers from their behinds while hes firing off questions. "Fernando, you as a doctor should know that." But wait, theres more! I was there to get an EKG. His staff had me remove everything and handed me a paper top that ended below my breasts. I kept my panties on. The worker returned and told me panties had to go, too. My boyfriend tossed me my t-shirt to cover myself for some modesty. Then a different worker came in and asked if I was there for a breast exam or Pap smear, and I said neither--an EKG. I was told I could put my panties back on and that the other worker was "new." The office wasnt even organized from the previous day. In the dim and nasty waiting room, magazines were all over the place (we had a first time slot appointment). A crumpled wad of used Kleenex or toilet paper was in front of one of the sofas. My boyfriend who, like me, has a long history of working with doctors said, "Well, that was rude" and that if he hadnt been there to see the attitude for himself, he never would have believed it was that bad. We agree that Montelongo is the rudest, most unprofessional doctor weve ever encountered in our lives. His staff is disorganized and incompetent. The next day I made a complaint with CalOptima and changed physicians.

This is THE WORST office ive ever been too. The staff has absolutely no clue on what they are doing! The Doctor is a joke. Sure hes nice but he has no clue on what hes doing! After being charged for absolutely nothing. Literally absolutely nothing was done for me except to hand me off to another Dr because he doesnt treat that. I was still charged $30 for that. No blood test no labs nothing. Just a short 4min visit. Then i wait over a week for the referal specialist from which they chose. Then after getting the info I get lectured by the office staff on how I shouldnt be waisting time and to call asap to be seen, i call the new dr and their phone lines are all screwed up! Saying its closed at 2:15p when they close at 5 and never able to get thru because noone knows what theyre doing again! Then after struggling i ask the pcp office to contact them and make an appt for me because i dont have time for that crap. They do. I go to the specialist after going through all the trouble and barely being able to get off work early (I work till 5p) i go see the specialist and now pay $50 wait another hr to be seen and then find out hes the wrong specialist who has nothing to do with my condition!! My parking ticket gets lost and now I have to pay for parking $10 for a visit that i was never supposed to make in the 1st place. WTH!! You mean to tell me I waited all this time and paid all this money only to have to go thru this whole process again!!!??? I mean what kind of idiots are you!? Then I call at 4:40pm and it goes straight to the machine. Noone answers. They close at 5p. But no, here they close whenever they want. WORST, WORST, WORST, experience i have EVER BEEN THRU! I am filing a complaint because this is COMPLETELY UNPROFFESIONAL AND UNEXCEPTABLE! I will never use this so-called medical office again! Dont waste your time. Thats all thats gonna happen if you come here guaranteed. Im making sure noone i know goes thru this horrible and frustrating experience ever again. What a huge letdown..

Dr. Montelongo is the consummate doctor all rolled up in one caring, sensitive, professional and talented, resourceful doctor. I consider him a friend as do, Im quite certain, all his patients. He puts everything hes got into every case, every problem and is never a slacker. He should go down in history and when one looks up the word "doctor" in the dictionary they should find his photograph. He has cared for about everybody else in my family and we all feel the same. Its been so long now and everybody else in my family is gone now after having left California, including me. I will never find another Dr Fernando Montelongo here in the Prescott area of Arizona or anyplace else.

This is the one of the best primary Doctor that I have met in my whole life , I dont really go to doctors but Dr montelongo from the moment he enters the room is nice , talks to you as a friend , understand your needs . Without asking so many questions and looking at your medical records he can tell you what is wrong with you . I believe not all of us share the Same feeling about all doctors but I definitely recommend Doctor montelongo , because he is a caring MD. And the staff is really sweet too They explain everything for you , they answered all of my questions .

The worse experience. This office has no regulations and honestly i dont think the Dr cares. When you call for a Rx, lab F/U or anything...expect a LONG wait time. I just called today to check up on my lab and literally on hokd for 16 mins....and still waiting. Time to switch. This place sucks.
