I had been considering having bunion for years but was afraid of the pain and recovery. After doing a lot of research into doctors, I found Dr. Reed after seeing all of his 5-star reviews. I am so happy that I found him! At my first visit, he knew immediately what was causing my painful bunions due to being flat-footed and took the time to clearly explain the condition and exactly how the surgery would work. I always ask a lot of questions and Dr. Reed always takes the time to answer all of them. I got the surgery on a Friday and I will never forget how Dr. Reed called me Friday night to check up on me and see how I was doing. It made me feel so much better to ask him some questions on my prognosis right away. I had his personal cell phone to call with him with any questions to further help my confidence. This really stood out to me as no other doctors will do this and it always made me feel at ease that I could call him or email him anytime with questions, and he always responds promptly. It also amazes me how he is After getting the surgery, I was healed and back to doing all normal activities within a couple months and I am so glad that I did the surgery. My foot looks great and I no longer have to experience the ugliness and pain on my right foot that I had for years. Now I am just planning when to get the other foot done. Dr. Reed is very good at what he does and I only wish more doctors took the time, patience and attention to help patients the way he does. I have since recommended him to several friends who all are impressed with him as well. Thank you Dr. Reed for everything!

It was a phenomenal experience from the initial consultation, pre-surgery preparation, surgery and follow-up visits. Now, I know why so many of his patients feel compelled to write great reviews about Dr. Reed. His approach to patient care, willingness to explain the procedure and answer all your questions, surgical skills and genuine interest in his patients were far, far better than what I had expected. I had bunion surgery about two months ago. It was extremely large, about the size of a walnut. My procedure took a little more than an hour, and to my amazement, I felt absolutely no pain during or anytime after the surgery. In a few weeks, I was able to walk fairly normally. In summary my review is five out of five stars, thumbs up, A+, highly recommended and all the above! So if you’re looking for the best foot surgeon in Orange County, look no further – Dr. Mark Reed should be your first and only call.

Dr. Reed is a foot specialist who knows his craft well and gave me my life back. When Dr. Reed performed bunion surgery, I was amazed how the surgery went so well, it did not take long to heal and I had not pain from the operation. And Dr. Reed was professional, kind and caring, and he made sure my experience at the hospital was great which I very much appreciated. I am a returning customer after many years. Returned to Dr Reed to evaluate my Plantar Fasciitis. He recommended stabilizing tennis shoes and a night boot to keep my foot in position. He said I have a mild bursitis on my heel. His recommendations are spot on and I am slowly recovering. His background in Sports medicine was also helpful in commenting on a treatment for my tennis elbow. I love it.
