Doctors: For two years I have been going to this location to get my glasses. I started out seeing Dr. Landers and found her partner Dr. Samii to be more my type. Both are really professional and know what they are talking about. Dr. Landers is also more into the business side of things where as Dr. Samii is more in tune her patients (which is probably representative of how this enterprise is set up, and thats fine). Dr. Samii took it upon herself to track me for glaucoma (have a family history) and recalled my case-history pretty well and was always prepared for my appointment which is important because that means the doc knows what she wants to lookout for during that visit. When I told Dr. Samii I am moving away, she compiled my case-history, made me copies of it and gave me excellent advice on how to find a doc for myself in Canada! Thats professional with a human touch. I am happy. :) Glasses: I have never been complimented so much for my glasses before! The frames and service is a bit pricier than other places but worth it. I forget her name, but there is a cute round faced blond girl who helped me find my frames and boy! she knew what she was talking about. Get with her and you will walk away happy (as I have seen so many others say in the offices over the past 2 years). They have all kinds of fancy brands (I didnt believe in it, but trust me. It makes a difference when the people who sell it to you know to present what will really make you look good) Staff: Pleasant in general. They email and followup with reminders and dont balk when rescheduling (meaning they are pretty friendly).

Let me first say that I cant review the actual quality or service provided by Dr. Landers. I never made it that far. ~~~~~~~~~~~ I had a noon appointment and arrived slightly early (11:55am) to fill out paperwork. I was then told that her current appointment would be 15 minutes late and another individual was also scheduled before me (he arrived late for *his* appointment). I was then told that my appointment would be pushed to 12:45. I told them that I had a 1pm appointment and the receptionist went into the back and came out and said that they would try to see me next. I then waiting until 12:25 at which time an assistant came out, apologized, informed me that they had just finished with the current patient, were then taking the next person (the one who had showed up late) and Id be after that. I asked when I would be in to see the doctor and was told it would be about 1pm. At first I rescheduled. I then decided that if thats how things were done, they obviously were doing well enough to not need my business. The customer service was friendly but that doesnt change bad policy. Dont penalize someone showing up on time for someone else showing up late. Bad form.

I was seen by Dr. Nadia Samii and she was excellent in the examination. She was very courteous and kind and did an excellent job in relating to the patient. Her recommendations were spot on and she conducted the exam with a lot of patience which was remarkable as it was the end of the day on a Friday before a long holiday vacation when most people have mentally checked out. The rest of the staff was also great at glasses fitting as well as appointment and follow-up scheduling. Overall I would recommend this office to anyone and will definitely be coming back again next year.

Doctors and staff were all phenomenal! I knocked out both glasses and contact fittings in one session, and they have a bunch of machines that make the different tests move along faster. Its also located super conveniently to the financial district, so you can easily get away from the office without disrupting your schedule. I also loved my optometrist...but her name is failing me. Ill definitely use them moving forward.

Ive been seeing Dr. Landers for years (decades?), and even after moving to the East Bay I still return to see her. Dr. Landers is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to patient needs. Her extensive experience has been invaluable as she worked with me to fine-tune my contact lense prescription to the best possible balance of distance and close vision. I highly recommend Dr. Landers.

Dr. Landers and everyone in her office is very sweet. I never have to wait very long and the appointment goes by quickly. I truly feel that Dr. Landers is looking out for my well-being and making sure she checks in on any issues weve been monitoring over the year. The selection of glasses in the office is limited, but they are happy to give you your Rx to take elsewhere.

Very convenient to make an appointment during the work week, and service was quick and straightforward. Everything was thoroughly explained, from a high-def picture of my optic nerve to what specifically my vision insurance would cover on a new pair of glasses. Great place to go.
