Everyone was SO nice, the appointment went quickly, and the doctor recommended several strains that would work for my needs. The waiting room is very clean and bright and the whole operation seemed legit and like they were really just there to make you happy. Parking was easy and its in a good part of town. Notes: - It is cash-only (or bitcoin) but there is an ATM onsite - couldnt be more convenient. - I think some other reviewers said they validate parking, but this was not true when I visited. Still, given where I parked and how quick the visit was, my total parking fee was only $6. Only (excessively minor) complaint was that I came in without having a CA license (which is fine with them as long as you have proof of residency!), and they gave me a coupon to a dispensary that requires a CA license to join. Womp womp.... not really their fault but it was a slight bummer.

As an "older," and first-time (if you dont count high school) mj user, I really didnt know what to expect. Wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The staff behind the counter was helpful and kind, and explained to me clearly how the process worked without making me feel like an out-of-place wanna-be. And, the doctor himself was warm, and gracious, taking his time to advise me on how to treat my specific (perimenopausal) conditions. I felt he gave me quality time, and solid advice, and most importantly, I walked away feeling as if I had been heard. If you are somewhat older, new to the mmj scene, or simply looking for sound advice from a caring physician, I highly recommend visiting MMJ Doctor in downtown San Jose. Theirs was far and wide one of the best (most caring, helpful, and informative) medical experiences imaginable!

I would recommend this doctor to anybody! I had an excellent experience going to MMJ Doctor. It was my first time getting recommendation, it was greeted pleasantly by the office staff, I filled out all my paperwork and within only 10 minutes of waiting I was seeing the doctor. The doctor is very friendly and we had a polite conversation. After giving me my recommendation he also suggested a series of YouTube videos to watch, books to read, articles to look up, and vitamin supplements to take that support medical marijuana use.

Great people to talk to on phone and easy walk in! Also apointment and they are kind and helpful Cash only! Remember to bring cash! The reviews are all good and seem honest. Easy location!! Positive feeling! Cant wait to start at Mmj Doctor in San Jose, CA. My other one closed thier very Close San Jose office so why would I stay with a company like that??? I have all my dr papers on my disability that is proven to be helped with medical marajuana. Fresh start with a solid company! Very happy!

Really good experience! Walked in, noticed there was around 5 people sitting in the waiting area. A lady came out immediately and had me fill out the appropriate papers and she took my id. Filled them out and turned them into the reception lady. Was called up for my appointment 1 minute after that. (SUPER FAST). Dr. Altchek helped me. He basically looks over your paperwork, asks a little about you and why you need this. That was it. Within 15 minutes I was a happy camper and on my way home.

This place is my go to! The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in and gave a warm welcome. Ive never had any upsets or letdowns from this place! The doctor was even very professional and also very informative about mmj he was nice enough to give me a list of books and documentaries to research on. Now thats love for the community. Doctors onsite, Has package protection: law enforcement protection, lost picture ID replacement, lost recommendation replacement, copy of medical records upon request, follow-up visit, and many many more!
