Will never use Quest again if I can help it... NOT customer friendly. Had to take my son to get two very simple blood tests. Issue 1 - Most of their offices work only during the times my son (who is the one in need of the test) is in school. They dont open early, they dont open late, they are not open on Saturdays. The ones that are open are much further from my house and very inconvenient to get to. Issue 2 - Office on Knowles in Los Gatos closes at 4:30. We get there at 4:15 for a very simple blood draw/test. Nobody in the waiting room, nobody in the back, were told - we cant do that for you now as were all wrapped up in the back. I dont get it - my expectation was - the office closes at 4:30 to give you time to wrap up things in the back so you can be out by 5 - Im here in time - now I have to figure out when I can work out time to get the blood test done. Issue 3 - this one drove to the edge. The blood test was specified as a standing order (meaning, it can be repeated), however, we were going to a different office, so I attempted to call and talk with someone to validate that they could access the standing order from a different office. Good luck - there is no way on gods green earth that quests wants their patients to speak with another human being - I tried for an hour to find a phone number that would work - in every instance, I either had the system telling me that the number being transferred is not available, and hanging up, that I did not choose the correct option and hanging up, or putting me to a phone number where the phone company told me - that number is no longer in service. Issue 4 - I figured, they must have a decent computer system - so I have my son wake up extra early (since he already goes to whats called 0 period in high school) - we get there in time and they are incredibly slow about getting patients checked in even though there are two people working. In 25 minutes, they had processed one patient. Problem is, they could see that a test was done, but it was not entered properly as a standing order (when I looked at the prescription before giving it to them, it was clear it was setup as a standing order). They knew exactly what test to run, they knew which Dr. it went to, however, they were unable to draw the sample and do the test for the Dr. I completely get the concept that a patient cant order their own blood work, but they must have this happen fairly regularly, and they know that there was a 99% chance that it was a data input error - the results are going to the patients Dr., but no way to take care of the fact that we went out of our way to have my son (a teenage swimmer - who needs calories) fast and wake up extra early... We will not be using Quest again. Lab Corp, on the other hand, has a way to talk with an individual - I checked before asking the Dr. to send the test request to them. Their reservation system is better, they are actually in the same building complex as Quest (at least the location near us) and they have Saturday hours. My very strong recommendation to you - use LabCorp!

This is the worst location ever!!!! the receptionist,an old asian lady she is so rude and unprofessional, I took my mom to get some blood work as walk-in, so we got there exactly at 9:23am on sunday August 14, there were a few people there waiting already, so we waited for 1 hour and people with appointments kept coming in and they were called soon, (I do understand they had an appointment) but half and hour after twice guys walked in at 10:00 am with appointment and they didnt even had their DRs order so the receptionist told them to go to their house and get it. 40 mins after they came back and the receptionist registered them and asked them to walked in room 3 is was already 11:00 and their appointment was at 10:00 am !!!!!!!!!!!! , so my mom was again put at the end of the line it was almost two hours of wait, I also saw that the receptionist was showing my moms lab to another upset patient thinking that was her order, first of all she was violating HIPPA regulation and in second place she was supposed call my mom before the two man, it was not our fault they were not ready with their drs order, they were supposed to reschedule or get to be seen after my mom and the other people with appointments, those two man had already lost their appointment since they got there at 11:00 am!!!, it is frustrating how the put the walk-ins at the end of the line every time somebody else comes in with appointment. This place sucks and the receptionist is pathetic and rude even with her own coworkers. My mom was never called and we end up leaving after 2 hours of waiting. Please QUEST DIAGNOSTICS HIRE PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS LOCATION. Im never coming back to quest diagnostics in my life.

DO NOT COME NEAR HERE!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED! This is the worst establishment we have ever experienced simply because the staff are rude and very unprofessional! I went there with my wife, and they kept badgering us with questions that a patient wouldnt have the answers for like: "Why didnt the doctor use the form that we are used to?" or "Whats our [Quest Diagnostics] account number at the clinic where you got the doctors order from?". Even worse, when we finally got to the part where they draw my wifes blood, the nurse impolitely exclaims at my wife: "Theres not enough blood coming out of your arms!?" We thought that we were seeing trained professionals, but instead were subjected to rude, and aggressive individuals that ended up poking my poor wifes arms with needles because they didnt know how to do it well. We will never come here again! We sincerely recommend you dont do that either.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was nervous choosing this location...decided to take the chance since its so convenient to my work. I dont know if it was a light day, but I found the time spent waiting, totally reasonable. There were only two people on duty, which surprised me since its a larger office seemingly set up to handle a large volume of people. One staff member did mention they were really understaffed, the tech on duty was doing double duty as receptionist. Both ladies there were very polite and had great attitudes, especially having to deal with the under-staffing issue. While I was waiting I could over hear the tech dealing with a developmentally challenged person. The tech was so kind and gentle in her handling of the special needs patient. I was touched...restored my faith in humanity a bit.

The front desk staff (I was at Samaritan Drive) is very rude. Impatient with people who did not speak English as a first language, and directed as though people should already know what to do. I walked in and was not told to sign in or was greeted so that wasted time until I noticed the sign in iPad. Then asked if I needed to give my pre employment paperwork and was told "Just sit down". The waiting room was full and tense. Back office staff was kind and professional, but certainly not a friendly welcome. Only giving a second star because of the kinder lab personnel. Staff (especially front desk) should be aware that in this service they are dealing with patients under duress. Awaiting results of a lab test to inform them about their health and well being. Please treat them with more respect and patience, like humans.
