Dr Block Rocks! I have a Neopolitan Mastiff (Murphy) who is CONSTANTLY getting into trouble. It is not uncommon for him to steal and inhale MULTIPLE loaves of bread, crack open and scarf down a brand new Costco 3 POUND container of doggie treats, swallow whole socks or even swallow torn up tennis balls. Yet he continues to be our pride and joy. Dr Block has done a phenomenal job taking care of Murphy AND us through two major operations and several frantic phone calls. She is a true animal lover and I always feel that she treats my dogs as special as she would her own, always going the extra mile to make them feel comfortable when they are not feeling well. She has a very down to earth working approach and does not panic, (like I do) at the first sign of trouble. I can call her at any time with any concerns and she is always there to help, just like my family. I have been taking my dogs to Dr. Block for many years now and every time I call or go into the hospital I feel like they know me and my two dogs and I don’t just feel like a random patient. Mind you, Murphy is rather memorable. Another really cool point about going to Bollinger Animal Hospital is that they will submit the pet insurance claims on my behalf, which is a BIG plus for me. This is just another example of how they will go the extra mile for their customers. I give Bollinger Animal Hospital 5 Stars and would highly recommend Dr Block for of any of your pet care needs.

I started bringing my cat Harold here when I realized how absurdly close I live next to this hospital. The staff here is top notch. I brought Harold in last week when he was having trouble urinating and they took him within minutes of me calling them. As soon as I walked through the door they were there waiting for him and immediately began helping him feel better! Dr. Block couldnt stop telling me how much of a sweetheart he is, and walked me through all the treatment options. She was honest about what she felt he needed right away and what could wait. So even though it was no cheap affair, I felt confident that he was getting the best care and I wasnt getting jerked around. A few days later, Dr. Block called to check in and provide follow up care, which took a lot of stress off. And today Dr. Atkin called since Dr. Block is out of town and checked in again! I guess it was obvious that I was a stressed out cat mama. She called in more pain medication for him to make sure he wasnt too uncomfortable, so I definitely feel better. I highly recommend Bollinger Canyon Animal Hospital for their caring and professional staff and excellent care for their patients! Thank you for all youve done for Harold! I will definitely be back whenever needed (which hopefully isnt too often!) :)

If you want a vet to love your pet (we have a dog) as much as you do this is the vet for you. After relocating from NYC to San Francisco we needed to find the right vet for our diabetic dog. After we read about Dr. Blocks experience of working with diabetic canines online and are happy to report the hour long drive to San Ramon from San Francisco is well worth the trip. Luckily or unluckily (you know, the whole severe diabetes thing) weve had the opportunity to meet and work with both Dr. Block & Dr. Atkin at Bollinger. Our older severely diabetic dog has had his fair share of issues especially after our move and subsequent cupcake incident. They handled each visit with such love and dedication I cant say enough about it. Their "report cards" you receive after each visit are a great addition to stellar service. From making an appointment to discharge the service you receive is always great. Thank you to everyone at Bollinger Canyon Animal Hospital.

Dr.Block and the entire staff at Bollinger Canyon Animal Hospital are wonderful! From the very first call, my concerns about my cat were addressed immediately. When we arrived, Dr. Block was professional and friendly, answering all my questions completely. She examined my new cat, a cat that another vet had declared was feral and dangerous. She scooped him up in her arms and was able to perform a complete and thorough examination of him when Bishop Ranch Veterinary could not get close to him. We are very happy to have found Dr. Block and are grateful to discover a veterinarian hospital that can provivide excellent customer service without making their customers feel like they are in an assembly line. Definitely the best vet in San Ramon!

Dr. Sandy Block is fabulous! When I first got my new goldendoodle puppy, she spent over an hour talking to me about basic puppy care and answering all of my many questions. Her staff are wonderful and we know everyone there on a first name basis. We have since had to visit her many times with many medical issues. She is super-responsive when we have an emergency. She provides you with her email and promptly responds to emails. She has even emailed me & called me over the weekend to make sure my puppy was doing okay. Her personalized care is so amazing that even my cousin has switched to her and travels all the way from San Francisco for her dogs vet services.

We love it at Bollinger Canyon Animal Hospital. Our first experience was about six months ago. We had just adopted an abused, frightened rottweiler who was anxious about being touched. Dr. Field was wonderful. She got down on the floor and just talked to us until our dog was comfortable enough to allow her to examine him. It was a very positive experience for all of us. Since then weve brought in our other dog who was diagnosed with thyroid disease. She was given the same tender care and attention that our rott received. You can really tell that everyone at Bollinger truly cares about the well being of both the animals and their owner.

Dr Block and her staff are wonderful! A few years ago, I moved here with my chihuahua - Puppy - who was terrified of vets. She would shake and quake just driving to the vet. Dr Block was able to win her over so Puppy was calm enough for good exams. Dr Block took good care of Puppy through a heart mummer and asthma. Now Dr Block is taking care of my new chihuahua puppy. On the first exam she got on the floor to play with the dog and then spent lots of time with us sharing new puppy tips. We love and trust Dr Block. There are good vets closer to our home, but we drive to San Ramon to Dr Block as she is something special and so very caring

Dr. Block and her staff are the most caring and loving staff you could ever find. They have been with me through the sicknesses and failing health of my pets have cared for me and my family (pets) like I am family. Calling and checking on me and my pets weeks after surgeries and when I lost my 16 year old lab they were just so amazing to me. Dr. Block was my help in choosing my next baby for my house she answered every email and would return calls even on weekends. I HIGHLY recommend this animal hospital and trust every one of my babies with them.
