First of all I found this place from Groupon they had a deal for (Exam, X-ray, & Teeth Cleaning) and so I purchased it and made an appt. Didnt even realized how horrible experience is coming my way! So when I went for my appt. so called Dr. Marten told me horrible things about my teeth he literally embarrassed me in front of everybody. He didnt want to do my teeth cleaning because of how bad my teeth was. And I paid for it, It was included in the package. He wanted to charged me almost $400+ for (1) dental filling & another procedure, I forgot what it was. Anyways, I felt horrible so I went to another dentist its called Gotta Smile also located in Stockton. Omgosh! they seriously had a tool to examine every inch of my teeth, they also did an X-ray they took their time. Of course I didnt tell them my experienced at Marten Dentistry so I could hear their honest opinion regarding my teeth. They just told me I needed dental fillings, & teeth cleaning but they said my teeth was pretty much healthy. I also asked them about the teeth cleaning? If my teeth needed to be pretty good to get it done? They said "NO, thats why were here for to clean the ones that your toothbrush missed". Although, I didnt get anything done there because It was kind of expensive but their GOOD! It wasnt enough for me so I went to another one close to Marshalls Its called Dr.Pulido Dentistry. They said the same thing about my teeth. Nothing is WRONG with is just needed dental filling & teeth cleaning. And they just reminded me to brush & floss to avoid tartar and bacteria. they only charged me $80 to get my dental filling done, I got a good deal. I still cant get over how bad the customer service of Marten Dentistry. They humiliate their patients in front of everybody. And oh, you know what else he said towards me in front of my bf? That If he was my bf he wouldnt dare to kiss me of how awful my teeth was. Thats how bad it was. PEOPLE DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, FIND ANOTHER PLACE!

Dr. Doug and Dr. Dax are amazing. They are completely honest about my needs and oral health, what works and what doesnt. They are always on the cutting edge of dental science and are brilliant dentists. I went to them for an emergency with my jaw that turned out to not be related to dentistry at all but they identified it more quickly (and accurately) than my general practitioner and referred me to someone who could help. I especially recommend them for oral surgery and implants, because they are brilliant and not only cutting edge, but also leaders and educators in the implant field. When you go in, you will learn about how the bad stuff in your mouth can affect your whole bodys health, it is amazing.

I didnt have a long wait which is always a plus. Dr. Dax told me what I needed done and left it up to me whether I wanted to do implants or not. I appreciate his honesty. The Assistant is very friendly and makes you feel at ease with any procedure you are getting done from cleaning to fillings or extractions. The office setting is very family oriented I enjoy my visit. I would recommend this dentist to my relatives and friends.

I am writing on behalf of my husband and how he has went on and on about what an awesome dentist Dr. Douglas Martin is and how he doesnt even feel the injection when he numbs your tooth or teeth!! How comfortable he makes you feel from the moment you step into their office . Every aspect has been an A plus according to my husbands expierience !!!!
