Dr. Hong is amazing! We have been going to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry for 4 years, and we really feel like she cares and takes care of us and our teeth. She remembers who we are, asks about our family, whats going on in our lives, etc. She has excellent recommendations for orthodontists who fixed my TMJ issues. She is caring, connected, and always has a great smile. Her staff is friendly, nice, helpful, knowledgeable, and the whole experience is always easy and, actually fun! This is how a dentist should be! Update: Just want to say again how fabulous Dr. Hong is. We had our 6 month check-up again - and again she is on top of all things teeth! Plus, besides being a superb dentist and very nice person to talk with, she has amazing amenities in her office - everyone in our family loves going there! Who really LOVES going to a dentist - we do!!

Jerry and his daughter Kari Ann have been my dentists for several years now. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them, or about the whole dental experience they provide. Their office features state of the art equipment and techniques. I have very sensitive teeth and usually require a lot of novocain for drilling - I was skeptical at first but I have to say that every experience I have had in their office has been virtually pain free. In addition to preventative care, Ive had tooth whitening as well as invisalign straightening. An added bonus is that their appointment schedule isnt over-booked, so patients dont spend a lot of time in the waiting room. The friendly, cheerful staff round out an all around great dental experience.

I am glad that google gives us the option of doing a Best Ever Rating and am happy to give it to Thousand Oaks Family Dentistry! The people at Thousand Oaks Dentistry are all very friendly and efficient. I had no waiting time, no paperwork to fill out (all electronic). The office was clean, efficient and honest. I have been to several other dentists in the past that have told me that I needed major work done and cavities filled. I opted not to get it done, came to TO Family Dentistry and was told that no work needed to be done. From the front desk, Greg and Maggie were fantastic and Dr. Katie was very personable, professional and thorough with the cleaning. Keep up the good work!

Its never anything but a positive and excellent experience when I go to get my dental work done at the offices of Dr. Jerry Hong and Dr. Kari Ann Hong. Theres always a pleasant feel to the atmosphere. Its balanced between professional, technological superiority and theres nothing short of many personal touches to every aspect of what they do. The dental assistants are always great as well. Every detail is attended to. I am of course a fan of the brownies, mini-water bottles, awesome lip balm, movie ticket entries and as I said, the care and professionalism with that personal touch the staff provides. Its not like going to the dentist, its like going to be pampered.

Thought Id add another update. Have now been going to Dr. Hong for three years, and Im just as pleased now as when I published my first review. They always start on time, everyone is friendly, the office is clean and neat. Highly recommended! So after my cleaning back in February, I needed to return to have a couple of fillings that were very, very old replaced. Dr. Hong (Kari) replaced them with minimum pain and theyve been doing great. Just had my 2nd cleaning, and everyone was just as friendly as the first visit. They hygienist was thorough but gentle. If youre looking for a dentist in the Newbury Park area, Im not sure you can do better.

I found Thousand oaks Family Dentistry online when I had a small emergency with my tooth, and I am extremely proud to say that I absolutely loved everything about the staff and the services they provided. They took me in as an emergency walk in and scheduled me an appt. at my convenience. Not only did they explain everything thoroughly, which was very reassuring, but made sure I was as comfortable as possible and really took care of me. I have never been so pleased after a dentist appt. and would definitely recommend anyone to Dr. Hongs practice.

I never found a dentist I was happy with until Thousand Oaks Family Care Dentists. They cleaned up old problems that were caused by former dentists that had been negligent in my care and I have been doing great ever since! Very professional, personable, and friendly staff - office is excellent and clean, complete with state of the art equipment. I should also add that I have immune system complications that they understood well and I was treated with special, appropriate care.

A friend told me about this wonderful dental practice, so I made my first appointment a few years ago. I am so pleased with the care and attention there and have, in turn, happily recommended them to other friends and family. They took my blood pressure on a regular visit for cleaning this past week and advised me to call my doctor right away. Their vigilance has helped me get care when I might not have noticed the problem.

Ive been putting off going to the dentist for far to many years, but decided it was time to bite down (get it bite down, ha!) and bare it. After reading reviews I thought Id give Dr. Hong a go, and can say I felt I made a wise decision. Not only was she and her staff nice and professional she did a great job on doing what I went to her for. I can honestly say Im not quite as petrified to visit her again.

My family has been going to Dr. Hongs office for a million years (give or take...) and we have always been extremely pleased with the care we have all gotten. The office is always immaculate and well-organized, the technology is cutting (bleeding?) edge, I am never kept waiting, and the dental care is, of course, topnotch. I always strongly recommend the team at Dr. Hongs office to everyone who asks.

His daughter Dr. Kari is now in practice with him and she too is everything you would want in a dentist. We recommend them without question.
