DR. FUNNELL HAS BEEN MY DR. SINCE DR. LE VAN RETIRED. HE & HIS STAFF HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY SPECIAL & STILL ARE. RECENTLY I HAVE BEEN TO TWO SPECIALISTS & THINGS WERE A BIT CONFUSING.AFTER THE VISITS, REGARDING SURGERY FOR MY EYES. I CALLED CAROL IN THE AM THIS WEEK & SHE GOT ME AN APPOINTMENT IN THE AFTERNOON TO SEE DR. FUNNELL. HE CLARIFIED THINGS IN SIMPLE TERMS, ADVISED ME ON MY EYE VITAMINS, EVEN LOOKED THEM UP ON LINE FOR ME. IT WAS VERY REASSURING TO BE ABLE TO TALK TO HIM. THE STAFF, CAROL, BOTH LIZS & MO HAVE ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFULL & PLEASANT. IN THESE TIMES WHEN OTHER DRS. ARE SO RUSHED , ITS NICE TO BE ABLE TO DISCUSS PROBLEMS IN A CALM ENVIRONMENT. Called on a saturday, I had never been to this doctor before, but was suffering from an eye infection. I was called back very early on monday and was seen that afternoon. The staff was super friendly and Dr Funnell, was thorough and polite and confirmed what the urgent care doctor didnt find. Gave me the right eye drops for my problem and even saved me money since he was out of network and I was a new patient. I will definitely be back for my regular eye exam and would recommend to all friends and family. I cant say enough good things about the doc and his office!

This was my first visit. My overall experience with Thomas Funnell, O.D. and his office staff was excellent. My exam began right at the appointed time, the doctor explained each procedure and the results in detail. His office staff was helpful in selecting the appropriate glasses and lens type.
