My daughter was born at the Whittier hospital and even tho I live in Covina the long drive didnt bother me because I tried giving this facility the benefit of the doubt. Her first appointment was great the staff was rude but I by passed it because the Physician Assistant was very attentive. (Dr Ali was out of town) her second appointment was made two weeeks after she turned two months i had some concerns and tried making an earlier appointment but not only did they deny us an earlier appointment this staff had zero patience to answer questions I had over the phone, I was put on hold right away by one staff member, a different one answered had me repeat myself then was put on hold again. I ended up hanging up and calling Dr. Priti Desai office. Her staff is amazing scheduled me an appointment for the NEXT day !! Was extremely helpful about my concerns LEFT ME ON HOLD to ASK THE DOCTOR! The way it should be! Im so glad I did the switch reading the last post about the vaccines and the nurse having zero compassion for the crying baby at Dr Alis office made the switch well worth it! Im a new mom and want the best for my baby girl. Dr Desai was extremely attentive and so sweet! Her nurse was BEYOND COMPASSIONATE for my baby while giving her shots. Moms dont put up with this staffs BS there are many pediatricians as great as Dr Ali with staff that are willing to help you and make you feel valued! Do your research and switch!!

Dr. Ali is the best dr. I know. One of my daughter has been going to see her since her second visit because I didnt feel comfortable with the original ped. and she is the only dr my other daughter has ever known. All the staff there is amazing. The girls are great with giving shots quick with little to no pain. She does get busy so no walk-ins but if you call they will do their best to see what they can do to get them seen ASAP. Elenor is amazing at processing all paperwork quickly and quick to respond (you know how insurance and pharmacies can be.) They are all a pleasure to deal with and make dealing with health stuff easier. My kids love them a feel very comfortable there. They are like family to us. I always do and will recommend Dr. Ali.

Slipper Man

The pediatrician is so sweet and very helpful and is the ONLY reason I still take my daughter here. But the staff is HORRIBLE. Doesnt even have the decency to call when they cancel your appointment they wait until you show up to tell you. Also never return your calls and keep you on hold for hours. The receptionist has the worst attitude and very unprofessional. The lady who gives shots has no sympathy for crying babies very rude and looks like she hates her job. Either train these people right OR FIRE THEM! This is ridiculous, dont work with children and parents if your not going to do it properly!

I heard Dr. Ali is a great doctor but the staff is not. Well they were right! I called to make an appointment at 9am but no answer. I tried again ten minutes after and the exchange operator answered. I asked her if they were opened and she said they are but they havent checked in with them therefore the exchange operator had to answer their calls. This means they are late to open. This has been happening for quite some time now.The Dr might be great but she can NOT run her own business. The staff are in charge. Beware they are very rude and not professional.

Pésimo servicio y muy poco profesionalismo de los trabajadores,lo traen a uno como pendejo vuelta y vuelta y solo saben decir vuelva mañana, como si no tuviéramos nada que hacer,yo les recomendaría si pueden, no ir a esa clinica se ahorrarían un mal rato...

I had very bad experience with the staff of the clinic, terrible service, I had to go more than 4 times for the sheet of my daughters physique. They missed the one they had taken at the beginning, after the doctor was not there, the next time they needed shots and they were supposed to have put them there.

Dr. Ali is amazing I have 4 kids and all have been seen by Dr Ali. But unfortunately some of the staff is not as amazing.... its always something excuses after excuses why they cant take your call or leave you on hold for to long.... the staff has lacked off a lot smh what happened.....???? Staff thumbs down!!!!

Just met Dr. Ali today at my granddaughters appointment. I really liked her and her (back office) staff of nurses. They all had a smile and their caring attitude was apparent at every step of the visit. Im glad this is her pediatrician!!!

My daughter is now 10 and this is the only place I would bring her to..Dr ali is the best...I have a 4 year old and its nice that they both got to have Dr ali as a doctor. The staff here are all amazing and friendly...

The doctor is amazing! But the staff is soo horrible! My daughter has been in and out of emergency rooms because the stupid lady in the front wont let her be seen! DO NOT GO HERE!! WORST PEOPLE TO DEAL WITH PERIOD!!
