What a blessing and relief to find Dr. Jokmels! When I moved back to SoCal after more than a decade out of state, I didnt know what to do. I missed my Boston dentist and dreaded finding a new one. I have a pretty severe case of TMJ, so working with a dentist who is knowledgeable and gentle is extremely important to me. Dr. Jokmels is both of these things. She took a lot of time to listen, and she answered all of my questions before, during, and after treatment. She checked in with me about my comfort all throughout the process (I needed a cleaning, one new filling, and repair of a cracked filling). I really appreciated that. I also must say that her facility is absolutely beautiful. It feels more like a spa than a dental office, honestly! And she has all the latest state-of-the-art equipment (I had no idea my "favorite" dentist in Boston was using such old tools and technology.) She takes pictures and shows them on a screen right in front of you, storing photos of every little thing she might want to keep an eye on from visit to visit (including a little spot on my gum that she thinks is harmless but that I discovered...she checks it every visit to make sure it hasnt changed). I should also mention that I dont currently have dental insurance, and Dr. Jokmels cash prices are unbeatable. I read a previous review about how she upsells, but Im beyond surprised to hear s/he felt that way. I have referred several people to her in the past 2 years, and I have never heard anything but raving reviews like the one Im happy to give. Its unusual for me to take the time to write an online review, but when it comes to finding a good dentist, I know its tough, so I hope my experience gives you the confidence to give her a try. I seriously doubt youll go elsewhere after you meet Dr. Jokmels!

I recently visited this dentist. What a mistake! It is a very nice and new office. The problem is that Dr. Jokmels is a up-seller. She wants to do unnecessary work to pad her bill. In my case she wanted to do what is known as a "Deep cleaning". Those of you who arent familiar with this ,it is something that someone over 40 might possibly need if they havent been to a dentist in several years . It cost 20 times more that a regular cleaning does. It is the new money maker for Dentists like DR. Jokmels. A regular cleaning is about 50 dollars. A deep cleaning is about a thousand dollars. Which cleaning would you prefer? She gave no legitamint justification for it or her badgering me to have it done. So I just got a copy of my x-rays and walked out of her office-never to return. If you got time and money to burn -shes your dentist!

My family has been visiting this office regularly for past 2 years for our dental needs. My kids feel very comfortable with Dr. Jokmels .This team have been consistently fantastic in every way--it is always a pleasure to visit the office. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere . I appreciate the time this team takes to talk through my dental health and provide sound advice. When I have had dental emergencies, they have repeatedly fit me in for last minute appointments and worked after hours. They are very good in following up to check on my progress. She never try to up-sell. She explains the fact and let us decide our needs. The staff is dedicated ,friendly and helpful, and my experience here time and time again has been fantastic. I strongly recommend Dr.Jokmels to take care of your dental needs.

Ive been avoiding the dental chair for awhile, was completely terrified as a child. Came here to Capstone, nerves and all, and couldnt have been happier. Scheduled my kids the following week and they were so comfortable. She was straight forward and didnt try and sell me on unnecessary work. Very kind and extremely gentle. Her prices are very competitive, actually my crown is $300 cheaper than any other dentist quote (Ive have a temporary in for years) and she allowed my to have a pay schedule. Her office staff is easy going and kind. Cant recommend her enough!

Great Dentist! Ive had 2 appointments with Dr. Jokmels so far. Both times I have been very happy with the experience. The office staff is very professional and friendly. The office is very well kept and nice. I have had cleanings done, teeth whitening, and made a night guard because I grind my teeth at night. I have been happy with the thoroughness of their work. They accept my insurance and I havent experienced any sort of unexpected costs. I have definitely found my family dentist!
