Do NOT take your children here! It has gone downhill since Dr. Kurtz left the practice. They have become completely intolerant of any view other than their own and spew misinformation just to try to convince you to do what they say. I have been taking my two children here since my eldest was a newborn. She is now 7. I was told that if I do not vaccinate them, I have to leave the practice! Of course I am not going to do it just because you try to strong arm me! Do they even try to get educated on the new information out there?? I mention Vaccines Revealed and of course theyve never heard that. My children have both been perfectly healthy their entire lives. I argue herd immunity to the point of how is my child potentially posing a risk to vaccinated children, doesnt that mean vaccines arent effective? I was told no vaccine is 100%, they are 80-90%. Oh really, where are those statistics? I suppose GMOs are safe too and I should shove those down their throats? She tells me they cannot allow these diseases to potentially enter their clinics. I said oh really? My two perfectly healthy children are a risk for other patients? What about the droves of immigrants that continue to fill our state, they are whats been bringing the diseases, but they are welcomed here? Im not going to get into that, she huffs and slams around. Apparently Im not allowed to make statements or judgements that I know to be true, just them. Im not saying all immigrants are dirty or disease ridden, but Im sure the majority of these diseases had a point of entry and it is from travel. The point to this, be aware of what youre walking into should you choose to go here. The Gestapo dressed as smiling snakes.

Still awaiting a resolution to billing issues. After meeting with the office manager, I was told the error would be corrected. It was NOT. Instead, I was sent to collections even though I never received a statement. The billing office was sending statements to another address on file for the other parent of my oldest who is NOT the guarantor. After meeting with the office manager again, I realized that because of this error, information from my youngest child would also be sent to the other address. This is a Hipaa violation as my youngest child is in no way related to I was told this would be resolved and if there were further questions, I would be contacted directly. verified numbers, ect. The following day, the office manager calls my spouse(who knows the issue, but doesnt have the details on hand to discuss this with her) instead of me, EVEN THOUGH this was verified IN PERSON. Front Office staff are very rude, and billing department does not return calls. Sad part is, the doctors are great, and so is the care. The concern at this point is casual overlooking of hipaa security. This office could really benefit from some front desk training to include insurance knowledge and collecting of patient responsibility as well as problem resolution skills. I have worked in Medical billing for a long time, so I speak from knowledge as well as experience when I make that recommendation.

Just like previous posts/reviews. This company has shady practices when it comes to billing. I have for over a year been trying to resolve our dispute however, it seems like they feel they are right and I am wrong. Our child went in for a flue type symptoms and was treated. I am certain that I paid my co-pay and when I got the bill, I tried to explain that I had made my payment. When they asked me to call home office, I did and was trying to work with them to resolve my dispute. I was told that I would get a call back. A few months later, I got a letter that stated that my children were no longer allowed to seek treatment at any facility under the same ownership. When I called the director to explain the situation, she stated to me that she would take my $40 co-pay and would look into why my children were discharged and why there was no record of me calling them to resolve out dispute. To date, they have not responded or returned my calls and have turned my children away for treatment. I would not recommend this facility to anyone and I have decided to file a complaint with DORA against this facility for Poor Communication, Failure to Release Records, and Client Abandonment.

First off its hard to find it when youre coming south on Orchard Road and cant see the street sign for gibraltar that you are supposed to make a u-turn at so I got lost. Then when I finally found it I was about 10 minutes late and the lady at the check-in counter was extremely rude! She was rude how she asked if I have ever been there before and if I was a new patient. I told her no I wasnt new and it was my first time to this location and I had got lost so I was 10 minutes late she told me Ill check you in this time but next time Im going to reschedule you! When I had said I thought we had a 15-minute grace period since thats what they always tell me when I call if Im running a few minutes late for my kids appointments. Very rudely she stated no its policy to reschedule but Ill check you in this time youre just going to have to wait! Me and my sister have both gone to Advanced Pediatrics since we were kids and now my two children (6 & 2)have been going there since birth if it wasnt for Dr. Bradley Kurtz Junior at the Stapleton location I would be finding a new doctors office for my kids!

Questionable billing practices. I brought both of my kids in to get flu shots during one appointment. I paid my co-pay for that visit. Then I received a bill for the full amount of the second flu shot. I called my insurance and they said Advanced Pediatric Associates coded the second flu shot differently to be applied to my deductible. My insurance said the flu shot would have been completely covered if the pediatrician coded it properly. I was told by the pediatrician staff that I paid the co-pay for one child and not both. *UPDATE* I received a letter from the administrator stating that they did nothing wrong. This office needs to educate themselves on the insurance policies. My insurance CLEARLY stated that they over charged me. The office administrator should be in the business of SAVING the client the most $! This year my pharmacy offered the flu mist for kids. I paid $0 for my entire family because my insurance covers it. Not even a copay! Save yourself some money and go somewhere else for flu shots.

Why do people think they can squeeze treatment for two children into one appointment and only be billed for one appointment?! If they treat two children they bill for two children. DUH. I take both of my children to the office on Himalaya and have never had a billing issue. I take both at the same time. Each have their own appointment slot (back to back) and the billing is smooth as can be. They bill for seeing each child separately, as they should. Just because you squeeze two kids into one appointment doesnt mean its actually ONE appointment, its still two appointments because they are treating two children. They cant submit two flu shots for Johnny because Johnny didnt get two flu shots. The insurance company would deny it. The office must file a claim for EACH child, hence two separate charges.
