At this rate, I wish I could give the office negative stars. Unfortunately, they have gone extremely downhill. I found Wee Care Pediatrics when I was pregnant with my son, who is turning two next week. Hes been attending here since he was a week old and we had loved it up until the past few months. To start, there was a strong, knowledgeable group of doctors and staff that were there from the time he was born up until he was about a year or so. For some reason, unknown to me, the whole office was flipped and a whole new staff came in. The doctors werent as experience nor were they as helpful. My son needed referrals for physical therapy which took THREE MONTHS to make happen because they kept making errors and daily I would have to call and walk them through the process over and over again. By the time we did get him into physical therapy, he needed to do a new evaluation because so much time had gone by between the first one he had. When we first attended, it was family oriented, with a loving and friendly atmosphere. When it got to this point, it was like we were just a number and the personable aspect or any amount of heart they displayed seemed to go out the window. Correlating with that notion, my son caught the hand, foot and mouth virus at daycare. Over the weekend, I brought him to the emergency room where they diagnosed him with it on a Saturday. Their instructions were as follows, "Bring him into his primary care doctor on Monday to ensure hes moving along in the right direction, hydrated and not losing to much weight." Monday came along and I tried to do just that. I called from 8am (when they are supposed to open normal office hours) till 11am nonstop. It rang and rang or I received a busy signal. It was frustrating and completely insane to me that they werent answering their phones for such a long duration of time. Finally, I decided to drive to the office. I drove to the office to find everything GONE. The office was completely vacant. Never did we receive a notice of them moving, a notice of them closing, nothing. There was nothing that went out to say, "Hey, just to be courteous and youve been a patient with us for two years, were moving/closing our practice and this is whats going on." So, if this happened to me, how many other people had to endure situations like this? As I have an extremely ill child who should be seen by HIS PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR, but due to lack of courtesy, respect and responsibility that did not happen. So, back to the emergency room with my poor little guy I went. A week later, I call to see if I can get someone on the phone. I actually did this time. There was no remorse, no care in the world and the girl on the other end of the phone had an attitude as I expressed my concern and the situation I was put in. This was the final straw for both my husband and I. Now, today, when I call to get my sons medical records, again the girl was extremely rude. When she asked why we were changing pediatricians and I explained to her the situation of them not alerting anyone of their move and the emergency situation that left us in, she states, "Well, we updated it on our Facebook." And, Ill just leave that there. I didnt know that I needed to rely on Facebook to let me know that my sons doctor was moving location and to not bring him in a time of emergency. I guess expecting an email, letter or phone call was completely out of line...

They constantly accept new patients but can never schedule appointments. EVERY time I call for an appointment for my child they tell me to go to urgent care or the hospital. My daughter could never see her doctor. Obviously urgent care is going to tell you to follow up with your doctor. When asked when we can schedule a future date out to follow up they cant even give you a date to schedule. After 5 different times for severe illnesses each months apart from eachother, I attempted to schedule an appointment and could not. I choose to switch to a different pediatrician. THE worst experience with them? I ended up having to prove additional information to the IRS for my taxes. The IRS requested a letter from her pediatrician for the previous year. Unfortunately ,Wee Care Pediatrics happened to be the ones I had to recieve this from and they where her Dr. At that time. When I called and requested this letter, they told me they refuse to write letters for people who are no longer their patients. They told me I would have to leave my pediatrician and go back to them IF they would accept us back JUST to get a letter for the IRS. I felt like they were trying to punish me for no longer being with them. I am NOT going to leave her current pediatrician who is AMAZING to get a letter!! Very unprofessional. Why??? I had a deadline to get this sent in. I had to call several times to try to get a letter. Finally I got them to say they would write a letter "IF" they still had her medical records! This was less than 6 months of us leaving their office. All I needed was a letter stating what address they had on file with them while she was a patient. You cant tell me you dont keep records of at least basics: yes she was a patient here at one point and this is how long. I know medical records are kept for a few years. They then went on to say on a later date, we fo have her records the Dr. Will write a letter stating she was a patient but we wont write the address we have on file. That is why i need thr letter. Then the said okay we will put the address on there. This was clearly immature and unprofessional behavior for no longer being a patient. I had never gave them any reason to treat me like this. I couldnt believe it! I even had to threaten to 3 way the IRS and educating them if Wee Care Pediatrics was refusing to give them the letter they requested to even get them to consider writing it.This letter was for the government not Me! Even if it was under different circumstances and it was for me why would they handle it this way. I ended up getting the letter the day before my deadline. In which I called 3 weeks in advance.

If I could I wouldnt even put a star on this place! I have never been so miss treated with a doctors office. I have been fighting with them to get my sons shot records for preschool and they have yet to give them to me. Everytime I call they tell me "no we cant do that" I finally called them to get all my kids medical records because I have found a new doctors office and they told me that they actually cant do that because they have to give it to some lady and she will call me with a price for MY kids shot records. I have never heard of such a thing. Then I called because one of my kids was sick and the lady at the front desk had the nerve to tell me that I should just take him to a urgent care. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. You are suppose to be a doctors office for children dont you want to make sure the child you see is getting the right care?! I had also just had a baby and that first year is really important to get there shots on time. Well they never gave me a reminder call or a you missed your appointment call or anything(yes part my fault I should write them down) but I still felt like that was something you should do. So if you want a front desk who is rude as soon as you walk in and hateful when you call to schedule a appointment then this is the place for you! I will never recommend anyone to go here! I have never been so disrespected in my life! They need to turn this office around! The front desk needs to know how to be polite to theyre patients and not such bitches. And I believe I shouldnt have to PAY for my childrens medical records I have never ever heard of such thing!
