Dr. Sandell is a cut above other pain management specialists I have seen. He is clearly informed on the latest progress in his field, and his knowledge and expertise come across in a very professional demeanor. At the same time, he is not cool or standoffish - he is warm and personable, and clearly cares about finding a treatment plan that works individually for YOU. I have a feeling he has a good eye for the red flags that indicate a potential drug abuser, though, so if you are doctor shopping, or not genuinely in need of help, I would not waste your time, or his. If you really need help with management of a chronic issue, and you are willing to follow his suggestions on a treatment plan (even if it means trying something other than narcotic pain medications), then hes your man. I have fibromyalgia, as well as a chronic issue with my foot, and thought walking in there that my only option was narcotics. Dr. Sandell got me to try a few different nerve medications before we found one that worked, and while I am on low level pain medication, we tried the lowest first and have found a good combination of medications for managing my issues. Being able to live a somewhat normal life is a gift to someone with chronic pain; if I could give him more than five stars, I would.

Dr Sandell has been treating me for the past 3 years for lower back pain due to arthritis. He is a true, caring professional and is an expert in relieving my pain with injections into the affected areas of my back. I have increased mobility, and I am able to do yard work and landscaping work again. I even got my old golf swing back! Thank you, Dr Sandell.

Was told to have my mom at her appt at 630 so we get there on time only to find the doors locked and no one there, called the night number spoke to Erica who told us that someone should have been here to let us in, that didnt happen either. If youre going to schedule an appointment you should be professional enough to be there on time.

Dr. Sandell is a great pain management doctor. He worked with me untill we found a good solution to my pain problem. Dr. Sandell spends quality time with his patients to listen to their issues and come to a quality solution trying to balance narcotic and mon narcotic solutions. He is an amazing doctor.
