This woman has ZERO people skills. It seems she feels its YOUR honor to be graced with HER presence. She doesnt see human beings, or the human element. The nurses agree that she is far from pleasant, but insist she is thorough while pushing her scopes. Expect long wait times. Her visits are a series of repetetive unconcerned nods while saying mmhmm, mhmmm often, while not caring, listening, or making eye contact with you. If the phone rings, she will leave your visit to answer it, and you wait for the completion of her more important call. I think when you leave from your appt, she wont even recall your name or what color shirt you were wearing. She just sees another scope to be pushed. She may be good at pushing scopes, but after seeing her, I almost feel guilty for wasting her time. I would suggest a different GI doc. Shes annoyed by human beings.

This physician is the worst. The day of my first appointment I heard her yelling at a patient who was in a wheel chair, it was awful. She came in and asked a few questions and told me she needed to do a Stomach Biopsy. On the day of the biopsy she gave me a tranquilizer and it caused my oxygen saturation to become very low and a horrible headache developed. She finally sent me to the hospital via ambulance so they could treat me. I made several attempts to schedule another appointment with her and was told by her nurse to go to the hospital and she would do the biopsy there. I went and she never even bothered to come to my room or do anything at all. I left the hospital and a few days later I received a letter telling me I should find another physician. That was fine with me! Stay away from this one, shes nothing but trouble.

I was seeing doctor hor since like December for gi problems. However, what ended up happening is I had the EDG and the Colonoscopy, seperstly. at which a few things were found. I went in for biopsy results in june on a thursday, nurse got me settled in the back. Put my file on the door. Well she came in talking to my husband calling him Robert, didnt look at my file on the door and then I interrupted and said excuse me Im Jane not Robert. Then she lookwd at my husband abd then me dumbfounded and said "whos the patient?".. Needless to say .... Im never going back there.

I seen Dr.Hor a few years ago and I am making another appointment to see her now in 2016 because she is great person inside out and cares for her patients. Yes I can say she cares because she shows it by making sure you are okay in all areas besides her profession and the reason you ate there by asking questions and running test than always ready to answer any questions you may have....I had a one day procedure that went well and needed thanks to her. I truly reccomend her...

Her staff decided to put me in to Memorial Central Hospital which has a terrible reputation for nosocomial infections. This after I specifically told Dr. Hor that I would not go there. Dr. Hor is now mainly teaching which she will tell you multiple times in your office visit. If the doctor is mainly focussing on teaching, why is she even bothering to see patients? Let the institution she is teaching with provide the patients.

My wife went to hospital with bowel obstruction. Dr. Hor did nothing for 3 days, in spite of many requests. We "fired" her and called in a surgeon who did tests and discovered that her cecum was dilated 13cm, in danger of bursting. The surgeon did emergency surgery and said she was in "definite danger of dying." He later told us that what she did was "abominable."

Dr. Hor is great! Granted I had the same experience as some where she seemed a little gruff at the beginning, but she really has a kind and amazing heart. She also has a great sense of humor if you can tap into it.
